I've been using these on Panasonic AG UX180 4K cameras. I have 2 Varizooms in regular use. The sensitivity, or better yet, the digital resolution of the focus controller is inadequate. The sampling steps of the digital encoder do not allow you to dial in focus properly in most situations. All too often I find the perfect focus is simply not achievable with the limited resolution of the focus controller. I can get close, and the very next step takes it beyond best focus. Disconnect the Varizoom and I can dial the focus right in on the lens. OK, so now I have only a remote zoom and iris controller, that merits 3 out of 5 stars for what I paid. Oh, and one of the Varizooms likes to zoom all by itself randomly, without adult supervision. That's a PITA!

Don't buy it for focus control.  The resolution is pathetic.

I just started using it with my Panasonic AG-CX350. Works fine!

Glad I purchased it

Zoom, Focus, Iris and remote record work great. I am able to feather the speed of the zoom. Over compensating for the focus and iris is an issue, but that is probably the sensitivity of the camera. I wish the handle mounting was designed better to be easily attached and detached. I keep it on the tripod handle, but it needs to be protected.
