Solid Battery

Dependable. I tried a generic battery but when installed in my Z9 I experienced erratic operation and error messages. Using Nikon batteries I have no such problems.

Does what it's supposed to do.  It's good to have a spare, I've seen many posts which suggest many days of shooting photos from one battery... partially true.  However, in cold climates like the Arctic, a second battery is useful.   Some of the features of the Z 9, the internal GPS; remote photo shooting over Wi-Fi, for example, drain the battery quicker than regular use.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. 
There's just no replacement for the authentic batteries, they're pretty pricey but they work.

Expensive, but absolutely worth it!

It lasts most of a day and having a spare provides an antidote to battery anxiety. The camera shows 20% battery when it?s down to the last bar. 

On the negative side, it?s expensive and for the price it would be nice if it came with the latch to make swaps quicker without paying more.

The Nikon EN-EL18D lasts a long time in my Nikon Z9 camera.  I made this purchase as a back up to the battery that came with my camera.  I live in the Pacific Northwest and we do get very cold in the winter and it is always nice to have an extra battery when you are out in the cold doing landscape photography.

An Extra Battery is Always Nice To Have.

Pricey, but I took over 3,000 photos during a 3 hour skating performance and had not drained half the battery.
