Excellent Look, Sound, and Feel

Going from intermediate guitar to starting piano, this is the best option for the price I could find. Love the simple options and weighted keys. 88 keys also gives range. Very good choice without too much limit and enough to use at my level. #SWEEPSTAKES

Excellent For my needs.

We used to own a baby grand piano years ago, but we've moved into progressively smaller spaces. My wife wanted to take up piano again, and the Yamaha P-143 ticks all the boxes:

5. Easy to interface with computers and tablets

Great starter piano

Very nice keyboard.  Bought it for my son as a whiner and he loves it!  Love that everything was included and it sounds great.  Shipping was super fast and we are very pleased with this purchase. 5 Star Piano

It's good for an entry level into somewhat professional learning level. Keys are good, seat is comfortable. The stand is a bit wobly but not enough to be an issue.

Bought for my daughter to learn and take lessons. With 6 months, 5 keys stopped working. Yamaha referred me to an authorized service center who kept it for 3 weeks without fixing it. They then returned it stating they were no longer going to be a service center. 

Found another authorized service company who diagnosed the issue but has been waiting for parts for a month.

Keys failed within 6 months, hard to service

Love the key action and the sound of this piano. I have a Roland digital baby grand and I enjoy playing this Yamaha as much as I enjoy the Roland. The quality for the price is fantastic. Highly recommend!
