Works great for an inexpensive reader!

The built-in card reader on my Toshiba laptop quit working a while back & I got tired of the the hassle & slow transfer rates from the camera to usb cable with my Panasonic GX1 & GF3 cameras & Panasonic V520 & SD80 video cameras. I was pleasantly surprised with the speed of this inexpensive reader. I shoot raw + jpegs on the cameras & the highest quality video settings on the camcorders. No complaints.

Questions about this item:

Jim V  Will it work with Windows 8?
JOSEPH G  I believe it will work fine. It's a nice device and hasn't given me any problems. I use it with windows 7, but I would not hesitate to buy it for a windows 8 computer.
Shopper  how does it work?
JOHN B  I bought this for someone who is tech-challenged so that they could access the photos on the SD card from their camera. Because if behaves more or less like a USB flash drive, it has worked well for her. I have heard of no problems.
