I use it on an old desktop computer with AMD Phemon 2 X@ 560 CPU with SATA2 controller on the motherboard. It performs pretty well has produces a primary hard disk score of 73 in the Windows Experience Index benchmark.

This was my first time building a computer. The installation and setup were so easy that I don't remember doing it. It runs fast. Windows 7 start-up in 23 seconds or less. I run games on it and the speeds are great.

Boot time for my PC is basically non-existent, I hit the power button and it's on before I can sit down. Putting all my programs on it make them start in seconds, load screens in games are gone.

I am amazed at Samsung's SSD's... wow they are amazing and worth the investment. If you are tired of slow startup and response, I highly recommend the Samsung SSD's as they are super fast which I believe can really up your efficiency throughout a days time. We have recently just built our 4th computer for buisness and I am convinced that I would not build or recommend building a computer without one.... I am that pleased.
