I have always used Vortex hunter rings on all of my rifles. This last two pairs I've bought have both malfunctioned before I even fired a shot. The first set I was mounting my scope and one of the screws went all the way through bottom mount. So I emailed cs with pictures knowing Vortex has a great warranty and they replaced them no questions asked. So I mount the new set and everything looked good..off to the range I go. Get my rifle out and I noticed the scope was loose same problem mounting screw once went all the through. I don't know if the holes are too big or the aluminum is just too soft. I don't think I will ever buy Vortex rings again.

These rings came with my factory Ruger Predator Vortex package loose. Before next range trip cleaned the rings and used blue thread locker and rings still did not securely hold scope in place for 308 shooting.

These came on my new ruger all American in .270, front mounting bolt bent and threw my brand new scope in the mud. Not impressed. Low quality, poor craftsmanship.

Rings are true and match up well with scope. No issues with torque and holding scope.

I used these rings on my Crossfire II scope that I put on my Browning T-Bolt 17hmr rifle. They are very easy to install and you can count on them holding your scope no matter how much recoil your gun produces. I would just recommend to use the torque specifications that Vortex recommends so that you don't crush your scope.

I used these to mount a Vortex Diamondback a few weeks ago. While not a lot can be said about a scope ring at the entry level, every part was machined nicely, all the screws had a nice feel when being installed, and the end result feels rock solid. The classic look of these really matched the scope as well. My favorite part about them is the fact that they used Torx screws instead of Allen or flat head screws. So much nicer to deal with. Great job Vortex, these do the job nicely!

I bought this for a budget build, and they do what they gotta! They hold solid, haven’t had any issues at all! They have been on the rifle for over 4 months now so that’s all you can ask out of 20 dollar rings! Simple, light, solid. Perfect!

Note: A friendly heads up on the measurement. Vortex medium is like a set of high rings... their high rings is like a set of extra-high rings. I purchased the medium rings and mounted a 44mm adjustable objective Vortex scope on them with 2mm of room left, 4mm without an adjustable objective. These Hunter scope rings are amazing... I don't know how they manufacture them for the retail price of less than $25 dollars. They don't need lapping, at least mine didn't. They are well made and extremely well balanced. They are relatively light weight and easy to mount. They seem to be durable and the fitment was fantastic. Unless I am placing rings on a 50 BMG these will definitely be my to go rings from now on. I found the pluming of the scopes vertical reticle easy to plum... due to the evenly spaced and balanced thumb screws and the single adjustment ring screws. I almost want to remove all my other scope rings and replace them with these Hunter rings... that is how impress I was with them. And when it comes to my reloading, shooting, scope mounting, and target setups I have an incredible OCD habit... so, yes these are a keeper.
