Low profile is excellent on my . 308 Scout. Makes me worry free when going through thick brush and not getting caught on anything.

I'm ashamed to admit I went the cheap route in securing my Vortex Diamondback onto a . 338 Win Mag. The cheap (China) rings from Monstrom cracked at the edge after torquing to spec. Buy the Vortex Pro Series and you won't have the same hassle I went through to replace the cheap ones.

Purchased these rings for a 300 win mag Savage Trailhunter rifle with weaver style mounts after I was told by Vortex that the standard "hunter" rings would not be the best choice, though they fit spot on to the weaver-style mounts that came on the rifle. When I went to install the recommended Pro rings, they did not seat well, barely holding onto the Savage Weaver-style bases that came on the rifle. I took it to 2 different gunsmiths who advised me that while the rings did not sit correctly, that they would "likely hold" as long as I didn't shoot the rifle too often. Not something I want to hear for a hunting rifle. I ended up having to purchase a Picatinny rail and switch out the original savage mounts, and now the rings are on there as they should be and have done their part to hold zero with over 30 shots. I am not sure why I had trouble with Weaver-style bases when these rings are supposed to be compatible with both weaver and Picatinny style bases as far as I know, but for Picatinny mounts they are solid.

These are the rings you want. They are worth every penny. Made from 7075 T6 grade aluminum which means they can handle any type of recoil. I use these on my .308 and my 30-06 along with a high quality picatinny rail. Once my rifle is dialed, it stays dialed. I wish Vortex would make picatinny rails too...

Bought these for a 10-22 setup I'm working on. Initially purchases medium height based on vortex recommendation. Returned for the low height. Work great with Crossfire II scope, Ruger original receiver and rails, bull barrel.

I bought these (after jacking up my scope with inferior rings- of course Vortex replaced my scope but they’re super easy to use, especially with the torque specs etched into the side. Must buy!

Bought these to install a Diamondback Tactical on my Remington 700 - 300 Win Mag. Rings hold zero after 320 rounds and don't foresee and issues in the future

These rings are side and stable. Very sturdy design really holds your scope at zero. I put them on my Remington 700 with a Nikon Monarch 3, torqued the caps and are still torqued to spec every time I check them. Bravo Vortex!

I bought a rifle and scope package a few years back and was always more than a little frustrated by how far my zero would move between hunting trips or even range trips. Figuring that it had to be the sixty-dollar scope I upgraded that to a vortex diamondback, which helped some, but did not cure my problem completely. upon further research I decided to look into better rings, the ones that came from the factory were obviously very cheap, even using gaffers tape to achieve fit. I bought these rings and mounted them up and after four trips to the range my rifle now holds a very consistent zero! These rings are very well made and come with very nice hardware. They rival or surpass rings my shooting buddies paid double the price for.
