Philip W : Does this computer (v3-575t-7008) have the skylake i7 and what are the advantages ?RODERICK W : The CPU in this laptop is efficient and fast. I have all the processor speed that I hoped a I7 could produce. I am AMD and Android users this is my first Intel product in about 10 years. I cannot answer your question at this time about Skylake. I think you could love the speed of this Gen I7 CPU.
Ramesh D : ram upgrade to 16gb? With 2 slots? Or single slot?Aaron L : Comes with 8GB DDR3L in slot #1, with slot #2 empty. For most uses, upgrading to 16GB provides little performance benefit. For maximum impact, by an SSD instead.

Great NoteBook for the price

I love this laptop not only fro the price but also what you get for it. A fast processor it's 6th generation, and 8gb ram and a backlight keyboard. I was looking for computer under $700 and this one beat every one of them in specs. I love that fact that it's touch screen although it's a plus and it's hd. Everything open up quickly and respond is great on the touch. Only problem i faced was the keybaord just toggles off and on when it's off it turns back on when restarting or awaking up or plugging it into power. I got some visual driver display crash but it fixes itself in 30 seconds and lets you know. Otherwise the speed is nice for a college student, wifi connects fast and everything runs smoothly
