Too expensive equipment

I agree wit the comment below. This setup explained is too expensive for a beginner. Adorama should keep in mind that pros don't watch videos like these but beginners and majority of them cannot afford a profoto lighting setup at a point where they are learning through youtube and other learning sources. Being a beginner I really like the Adorama products, they are cheap, reasonable quality and serves my needs.THX

Lot of money in that equipment there.

I took a look at the cost of the equipment you are using here. A beginner is not going to have $5000 to spend on this stuff. How about setting up something using something more affordable for a start?

Simple Studio Lighting

Would have liked a little more information, but this did give me a basic set up for studio lighting.

Setting up simple studio lighting

Hi, I think that this will be a great thing and hopefully bring more people into photography and Adorama. I do have a small suggestion. In this video you show the lighting, give a small amount of info but never actually show the model getting photographed. I think that would have helped drastically. One could see how you placed her in front of the backdrop and where the photographer was standing. Might sound simple but remember this is aimed at those just starting in photography. Thank You! I will be watching for the next episode. [Don't worry, Phil, the actual shoot, with the model, will be the subject of an upcoming video. Stay tuned!-Ed.]
