Shopper : what is "finished" size of the shred?ANDREW R : Per the product overview: "...8 sheets of documents or 1 credit card per pass into 7/32in X 1 27/32in pieces."LINDA S : 1/4" x 2-3 inches or smaller.
Shopper : are Aurora shredders found in retail stores?ELLEN R : I don't know, never shop in store for this shredder. So far is has been a really good product at a fair price.
Shopper : How do I lift the cover to empty the cut paper bin?MARCIA M : This was a gift for my father and after checking, it just lifts off. The cutter is slightly larger than the bin and just sits on top of it.ELLEN R : The top of the shedder lifts off. There on the sides of the shedder is indented so you can lift the top off, to empty basket. Be sure and place shedder correctly, you will hear a click to make sure it's in place. It will not start unless you have the shedder in alignment.TERRY B : You have to lift the shredding mechanism up and out of the basket it sits in. Just grab in with two hands, one on each side, and lift it out and set it on the floor. If you can't lift it...... get a gym membership:) tb

Works great!!

I try to keep my bunches of shred material down to 4-5 pages, but sometimes, if the pages fold while going in, I can end up with up to 10 or more pages. This thing rarely stops. It works well for my needs.

Seems OK

Ok light duty shredder, will overheat with continuous shredding, at least it shuts it's self off.
