Good binocular tripod

I have a Bogen 3265 pistol-grip head on top holding heavy upward-pointing binoculars over my eyes for more comfortable binocular astronomy. The center column makes it easy to adjust the height for sharing views with taller or shorter friends. The stiffness and stability are both very good with the legs spread wide. It is light enough to move easily. I leave it set up, but it collapses into a small package for easy car-trunk transport with the binoculars attached.
