Bought this years ago; it's starting to wear out, but I've never found any other model which works as well. Usefuli to support a large telephoto lens. The hand grip allows quick adjustment up & down, so one doesn't have to undo a clamp. Very light with good height, and works well as a walking stick. Would buy it again,

I own two of these. One quit working and I bought another. I have been extremely carefull to keep water out of the bottom. I have sealed and taped it. I have never owned any other monopod but I wish there were one out there which would work consistantly. I am still using the second one I bought. Either I am just not proficient at operating it or it works inconsistantly. I am a nature photographer and use it to support my camera as I stand in the pond.

This was the first monopole that I ever used (bought first one 20+ years ago. When I lost mine in Hurricane Sandy, I did not hesitate to buy it again.

I also bought a ball hinged plate (same Manufacturer) to put on top of the monopod, which gives my shots a lot of different interesting angles. I like the fact that the monopod is automatic, because I have severe arthritis and it is very hard to put together too many things and takes more time for me, which might cost me a lost shot.

The automatic, 3 section, monopod provides immediate single handed final height adjustment. Squeeze the trigger handle and the top section can be raised or lowered, release, and it locks in position. The lower two sections have a twist lock action for additional height adjustment. The top plate has a dual 1/4" - 3/8" camera fixing screw.
