Totally great tripod to pack in and pack out with. The only thing I wish it had was a hook at the support to be able to hang some weight from.

I purchased this to reduce weight of my backpack on overnight trips. Other than the maximum height and ultimate stability, this has all the same features as my Slik tripod, which is more than three times the price and almost three times the weight. The legs open/close easily and lock securely. This lightweight tripod is still pretty stable, and even features a quick-release head. I thought to get down into the one pound range or less, I'd have to go to a limited function tripod with no height adjustment, but was thrilled to find this one that's just a smaller and lighter version of a full sized tripod.

I bought this tripod because it was small and Light since I needed something to carry around when I take out one of My older cameras SLR or Folding cameras . So this is perfect for me: Could be used for light and small P&S Cameras NOT those heavy cameras

Great tripod for the money. Very stable and portable. It even has a bubble level on it. It holds my Canon Xsi and Canon EF USM 28-135mm without any problems.

Great light-weight, small tripod that can be used on a tabletop or outside. Although not in the description, it did include a quick-release. Panning is smooth but up/down tilt is still a little tight but I think it will free up with more use. The leg flip locks are easy to use and lock the legs firmly in place. Perfect for a digital camera but sturdy enough that I can use it with my SLR with 28-80mm lense in a pinch. My neighbor likes it so much that he plans to order one for use when biking at Lake Tahoe.
