TECHNICAL & CREATIVE TRIUMPH

Wanting a digital camera that I wouldn't outgrow, I am an enthusiastic owner of a new Nikon D200. I promised myself that I would strive to conquer the numerous complexities of the D200. For me, that's a big goal because the technical aspects of photography have always intimidated me. The last 35mm camera I bought was a Nikon N80. It's a shame that I never undersood enough about it. The "Blue Crane" DVD is amazing. For example, after viewing it, now I finally understand shutter or aperture driven choices and benefits of warm white balance for portaits. This DVD speaks to us creatively as the photographer we aspire to be. It's quite an interesting approach to photography and the intricacies of the D200. It is far more than a reiteration of the Nikon D200 instruction manual. For concise details on the D200 menus and functions, the "Magic Lantern" instructional DVD guide is a valuable resource. I suggest you purchase both the "Blue Crane" and the terrific "Magic Lantern" D200 DVD. I regret that I also spent money to buy the "Jump Start" D200 DVD.
