John D : cant tell, is this on an elastic strap? Id like it to fit on my Flashpoint Evolv 200LARRY J : The Flashpoint has a Velcro strap.The middle of the strap has a tacky area which prevents slipping when it is attached. I use mine on a Fujifilm EF-42 and it works well.JAMES W : My recollection is that it is elastic but I threw it in my bag of flash accessories and have not used it yet.MICHAEL D : This is a hook and loop ("velcro") fastener with anti-slip material on the reverse side. Inexpensive, reasonably well made, and useful. Fit well on speedlight and kicks out a better light than the built-in bounce card.

It affixes snugly to my flash and it bounces light. Can't ask for much more.

Pretty straightforward. It fits well on my flash and does a good job bouncing the light. Has a silver side for brighter more high-contrast light, and a white side for softer more diffuse light. Both work well for their intended purposes.

Velcro is wrong

One critical design flaw is that the strap that wraps around the flash head has the hook & loop velcro on it and the soft velcro is on the bounce panel. This should be reversed. Why? The strap on the flash head grabs the inside of the flash pouch, preventing the flash from being put into the pouch. It also grabs the inside of a camera bag, making it difficult to remove the flash from the bag. Oops. I have other bounce cards that get this right.

OK for the price

For the price, this is fine. It is a bit cumbersome to get on and off the light but it is portable and cheap. Consider it if you want a small reflector
