I bought this knife almost 15 years ago. I used it for 8 seasons of tree planting everyday. I use it on the farm I work on now. THIS IS THE MOST RELIABLE KNIFE. I HAVE EVER USED. I still cut my finger nails exclusively with the serrated edge. 15 years later. of the same knife.

I really like how the belt clip is reversed on the handle. Since that end of the stock is tapered, it takes up less room and is less bulky at the top of my pocket than other clip knives.

This knife is the very first one I bought with my own money. I have always used my dad's knives and this one surpasses all of them by far. It fits my hand perfect and I love it so much.

I have used this knife for close to 5 years. This is the best knife I have had. Gerber is really hard to beat. It is excellent. Fits well in the hands and serrated edge is sharp and works well. Overall I love this knife and would get again.

Bought this on a whim. It's a perfect overall length, fits confidently in hand and unobtrusively in the pocket. The build looks and feels solid and it's not super expensive. I'd say a fantastic value in an edc knife.

Love this knife, it's my daily carry. Unfortunately, I've misplaced it and decided to return for a replacement. Lo and behold, I found the same piece. May very well buy it again!

I've taken this knife all over the world, in the ocean, in the air, the desert, the jungle, and to work every day, and am convinced it is unkillable. I have used it for every possible use that one can think of for a knife, as a general purpose pry bar, bottle opener, to work on aircraft, and a wide variety of other tasks for which it was never designed. It has weathered all of them beautifully, and holds an edge well. I have never had an issue with the clip, or with the handle itself coming loose. It takes a deliberate action to close, and I have never worried about it closing accidentally while using it. 13/10, phenomenal product for the price.

Great knife, biggest complaint is that the pocket clip gets loose very easily It was just a bit slimmer than I expected Took a little getting used to factory edge holds up fairly well

The overall is really nice , good fit to hand and definitely sharp but my only major complaint and almost keeps me from wanting to use this knife if it is so hard to get closed after opening. It feels like I'm going to rip my thumbnail from my nail I have to push so hard. But besides the extremely difficult closing it's a good knife and have liked very much.

Overall fit and feel of the knife handle is good but locking mechanism is a poor design. It is hard to close the blade.

Great knife. Had it for about 2 years now and it follows me almost everywhere. It fits perfectly in a back pocket of my pants and is being use almost everyday. Serves me for city usage like opening packages and wood use for cutting heavy pieces in the wood even in my shop when i do woodworks. Pros: slim, fast to open with one hand locks tight. Cons: the blade gets loosen up quick.( as do every knife you'll use every day...)

I got this knife 4 years ago, as an edc knife and it still works like a beast. Pros: Maximum performance/price. Perfect for edc. Cons: Hard to sharpen if you don't want to damage the black finish. (Otherwise I'd give a 5*)

I got it on sale with the mini for pretty cheap. The blade is a disappointment it dulls really easy and is a pain to sharpen. Pros: it's a folding knife was cheap Cons: Dulls easily and doesn't sharpen as well as some of the other kinves I've owned.

I bought this knife 5 years ago and used it everyday for opening and breaking down boxes, cutting carpet, insulation, plastic, and cutting various rope. I also use it to stab holes in a 20 liter steel brake cleaner pail. It has held up like a beast. It's tough as hell and the only thing is the lock bar is starting push all the over when you open the blade. It should only be about 50 % of the way. The steel is not the best, but it is tough. The edge doesn't hold the greatest, but is reliable.

I bought this knife half off for a backup EDC pocket knife. As with all other Gerber products, I am very impressed. The only thing I find difficult is closing the knife, but that may just be a personal quirk. Overall, the knife is very sharp out of the box and is wonderful addition to my knife rotation, in my EDC.

I bought this knife on quite a discount many years ago (4+ years). This was my first introduction to Gerber and I must say, I fell in love with the company after this. The blade steel isn't the greatest, but this little knife is quite the workhorse. It has survived many years of regular use in outdoor and industrial tasks and is still going strong! The blade dulls rather quickly, but takes a wicked sharp edge very quickly. I highly recommend it for any slightly experienced sharpeners looking for a budget blade. I look forward to testing the real limits of this knife. A+, Gerber.

This knife looks and feels amazing!! The only thing I use it for is to stab my beer cans so I can shotgun them, so I'm not sure how this knife works with the heavy duty stuff that some people might use it for. My only compliant is when I'm done with my shotgunning contests with the bros it is pretty hard to close. If you want a life hack just take some olive oil and stick it in the locking mechanize so make it easier to close. Trust me cutting yourself after 8 shotgunned beers suck!!! So with the olive oil I give this sick looking knife 4 stars

This knife,Gerber Swagger serrated drip point model is a great everyday use folder and in my opinion I believe it's better than the Evo Gerber model. Iv had a Gerber Evo and it felt cheap and flimsy. I gave the Evo away it was not as well put together as the Swagger is.I'm a knife collected and user and think the Swagger is a better all around pocket knife and the nie thing is it's priced less than the Evo. Personally I Think the Evo is over priced and over rated big time. I love the Swagger. I will buy another soon, gotta have two of them in case they stop producing them ; ) Thank u Gerber and keep putting out the great stuff for the buck bang.

Nice knife, good feel in the hand. Only real issue I have is the liner lock is a little annoying to close. I think they should have had the liner sit a bit higher, iit's hard on the thumb at first. You do get use to it but I find it makes the thumb sore until then. I think I would have preferred a spine lock.

I really like this knife. It works very well, it feels comfortable in my hands, and it looks nice. my only complaint is that it is a bit tight so opening it is a bit harder then my other knives but its great other then that.

I have used this knife for a few years now, primarily for fishing, freshwater and saltwater, and it has held up extremely well. Saltwater has not rusted it like it does many other "stainless" knives. Holds an edge pretty well, even after making cut bait out of dozens of fish. Recommend this knife

An attractive, inexpensive, versatile knife. The only flaw is the rather fragile clip. I have used mine since 2013, for everything from opening packaging, to stuff in the garden. It is a most excellent garden knife, and single-handed opening is easy.

Recieved a well used one of these from a soldier from Fort Bragg a while back and am pretty impressed with it. I consider it a nice in between sized knife a 3 1/4" blade is a good size for me. Blade takes a shaving sharp edge and seems to hold it well, thin profile makes for comfortable carry and fairly wide pocket clip seems sturdy and dosen't get snagged on things easily. Opens easily with thumb stud or flick of the wrist. Picked a new one up to give as a present to my brother in law and think he will like it...

The Gerber Swagger sports the same dual G-10/Stainless steel handle and features of its smaller kin in a medium-sized every day carry folder.
