This is the second one of these I have owned. I just wore the first one out and tried a different version but I hated the zipper pockets so I came back to this. I'd give it 5 stars if they would just get rid of the stupid epaulets on the shoulders. Those little brass snaps can get annoying when you carry your camera tripod on your shoulder.

I got this vest in khaki to use while training my dog outdoors, rather than for a photo-related use. I can throw it on over whatever I'm wearing and know I have pockets adequate for treats, toys, water bottles, and poop bags. In case you're wondering, the large pocket in the back is big enough for a flying disk (Frisbee.) Also, I went for a low-priced option in case the whole idea didn't work, but it does, and despite the low price this seems to be a functional vest. I'm going with four stars because some of the pocket subdivisions are just too cute, limiting versatility and usefulness rather than adding to them, and because I suspect it will not be durable in the long run. But for the price, it does the job.

I had to buy mine on line. Cabela's does no have it as an in store item. Other down side to this - it is made in CHINA. What with the virus, it's hard not to buy anything that is not made in China. I hope I worded that correctly.

Based on the sample of Khaki shown on your site, I thought the jacket would be much lighter than what arrived. Disappointed,

Wife will use it when we go to Las Vegas. No need to carry her purse. Lots of pockets for money, tissue, pen, player's card, snacks, cell phone, etc.

This is your Typical Ranger vest with none of the added features described in "features". "Adjustable side tabs" are not adjustable, there should be another few inches of velcro tab. Sadly, there is NO "Large inside zip pocket for maps & important documents" just the typical 2 small velcro tab inside pockets. Unless the whole vest is water resistant, there is NO special "Velcro closure water-resistant pocket" NO special "Pen & flashlight pockets"
