yashar k : hi can this printer be purchased outside usa, when purchased and received can the rebate be claimed if leaving outside the usa, what is the process and how long will it take, how much is the rebate ?BETTY M : I live within the USA and didn't submit for the rebate so I am not able to respond . However you could review the rebate document before purchasing and contact the customer service area as I did before purchasing. They were very good at answering all my questions when I called. the number given online for customer service. The printer is worth the money.
diane h : is this a double sided printer?AP C : no, you could probably feed a picture though to get printing on both sides but it may ruin the first sideLARRY S : No. Prints on one side only. You have to flip the paper over to print on the other side..BETTY M : I use this printer to print heritage photos and to produce sales quality prints that I want to last 300 years. Since I am going to frame the artwork I produce with this printer, I never use it for anything that would need a double sided copy. Bear in mind that the ink has to dry and the time taken to do that doesn't lend itself to double sided production. This doesn't answer whether or not it is capable of double sided printing, it speaks to the lack of practicality for that purpose given that the ink is an oil paint. Canon issues

Another step back on Canon printers. Only "My Image Garden" software works for printing CDs. Do not count on any of the software listed on the website to work with this printer! Will not save Cd layouts, very limited editing choices, very limited paper size choices. This is supposed to be pro level printer, and has less features than cheap give away.

Buy Epson

There is always a problem with my printer. It is soooo slow. I hate it.I want to take a hammer and bust it into a million pieces. It takes About 1 hour with set up and problems to print an 8 X 10. It will not print 11 x 14. Almost of my customers want that size, because that is a very popular frame size. Canon say to print on larger paper and then cut it out. Epson printers print 11 x 14 Why Cannon will not recognize this size is beyond me. I am not a Canon hater. I love their cameras and customer support is second to none.
