My original eye cap went missing, and I replaced it with its larger sibling. I like the extra shading it provides, though it makes for a slightly tighter fit in my bag.

Much larger than the original and therefore cuts out more light. I ordered this as soon as my Olympus EM1 II arrived.

Am disappointed in this cup, I had hoped it would work like the Canon one does and block out the light but it is hardly any bigger than the original one so if you are looking for it to block out light then no I would not recommend this.

Eye cup

I lost my original piece and purchased this. Compare to the original the rubber bowl is deeper. But this might cause issue for people wearing prescription glass. With this eye piece I can not longer see the entire border of EOVF display area wearing a glass.

Good alternative to the original but may not suit people wearing RX glasses

It looked exactly the way it should have looked and works well.

The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II has an excellent viewfinder.  However, it also has a very wide field of view and I had a difficult time seeing the whole view because I wear eyeglasses.  The gap between the eye cup and my glasses made it difficult to check the edge of the composition for small things that should be excluded.  This extended eye cup solved my problem!  The gap between the eye cup and my glasses has been eliminated and I can easily see the complete field of view.  I heartily recommend this small item that has made a big imporvement to my photography!

A wider field of view

This eyecup is larger and more comfortable than the eye cup on EM-1s.  I replaced all my eyecups with this.

Good replacement

Detachable cup. Works with eyeglasses. I find it has a little more viewing room than the eye cup that comes with the camera. For the price, it's a good option.
