Sony DC-C1 DC Coupler for NP-FZ100 and NP-FW50 Battery

Where continuous and reliable power is essential for extended photo and video sessions, the Sony DC-C1 DC Coupler is the perfect solution for cameras compatible with NP-FZ100 or NP-FW50 batteries. Designed to supply uninterrupted power, this DC coupler ensures your camera remains operational for long periods, making it ideal for professional shoots and demanding environments.

To utilize the DC-C1, a USB Power Delivery (PD) power supply of 65W or more, along with a USB cable supporting USB PD (5A), is required, both of which are sold separately. The DC-C1 seamlessly integrates with your camera by inserting the plug-in plate into the battery slot. It includes two plug-in plate adaptors: (A) for NP-FZ100 and (B) for NP-FW50, ensuring compatibility with a range of Sony cameras.

A standout feature of the DC-C1 is its lockable USB cable, designed to prevent accidental disconnection. This is achieved through two methods: (A) a USB connector with a locking screw that secures to the DC-C1's locking screw hole, or (B) an anchor loop that fastens the cable to the USB port. This added security is particularly beneficial during outdoor shoots where stability is crucial.

Despite its enhanced functionality, the DC-C1 is compact and lightweight, surpassing the AC-PW20 in portability. This makes it an excellent choice for photographers and videographers on the go. The 1.6-meter cable connecting the plug-in plate to the power supply assembly offers flexibility in setup, and its length can be adjusted using the cable band to accommodate various shooting scenarios.

The power supply status is easily monitored via the Power Indicator Lamp on the power supply assembly. The lamp illuminates when power is successfully delivered to the camera, and flashes if the connected USB PD power supply cannot deliver more than 65W, or if the USB cable does not support a 5A electric current. This feature ensures you are always informed about the power status, allowing for uninterrupted shooting sessions.
