Shopper : Would this still work with a Nikon SB-400?CHARLES M : I don't know what an SB-400 looks like, but I have a full size SONY flash and this kit has velcro squares that you attach to the flash head and velcro squares on the bouncer. It's a universal design, so it should fit all flash units and regardless of make.RAJOO C : This will work with almost any hot-shoe flash. But you have to also get the Lumiquest Ultra Strap ($7.95), which wraps around the flash (no glue, etc).DOUGLAS N : Due to the design of the bouncer, it will fit pretty much any flash head. I have a SB 400 and have used it occasionally. It does seem a little large for the unit but it works fine. DNANDREW R : Unfortunately no, this Bounce kit will most likely not work with the SB-400.

Great product

I use this mostly for wedding photography when I need to use flash. It works great - allowing me to use flash without it being too overwhelming.

Great when nothing to bounce off of

Great for outdoor fill flash or indoor situations where the ceilings or walls won't work for bounce flash. It reduces the range of your flash, so if you can get close enough, (within about 20 feet or so) it does a good job of lighting the subject with out the harsh shadows.I got the cinch strap so I didn't have to attach Velcro to my flash. That way the Velcro is not in the way so you can still attach the diffusion dome for longer situations or bouncing with the dome.This is one of my favorite diffusers because it works & It's foldable so it's easy to fit in a bag.It does a good job of diffusing and spreading the light. The gold & silver inserts are handy for special effects.For more info. check out lumiquest's sight at [@]

The Pocket Bouncer enlarges and redirects light at a 90° angle from the flash to soften the quality of light and distribute it over a wider area. While no exposure compensation is necessary with automatic flashes, operating distances are somewhat reduced.

Application: To soften flash light quality with minimal light loss; to be used with slaves or alone where low ceilings are not available, or where more direct but soft fill light is desired.

Gold & Silver Inserts:
The Metallic Inserts attach with hook and loop dots to the bounce surface of thePocket Bouncer to further modify the quality of light.

Application: The silver insert adds a specular look to highlights; it is particularly us eful for weddings. The gold insert adds a warm tone to the scene; it is particularly useful for outdoor fill flash.
