not only does it protect your flash from the elements, but also it aesthetically fills the dull looking link between your flash and your camera. nice. =)

Works as advertised

Bought this to protect the connection between my camera and flash. Excellent for keeping water splash out and even makes to flash hold firmer to the camera and not wobble. Great piece, but a shame it's not included with flash.

Fits perfect

I'm not sure why you really need it but it fits fine, looks good and keeps the SB900 firmly in place in my Nikon D300.

I'm not sure why you really need it but it fits fine, looks good and keeps the SB900 firmly in place in my Nikon D300.

The WG-AS2 water guard is useful for protecting the camera's hot shoe contact when the SB-910 or SB-900 is mounted on the D300 or D300S. Clipped onto the camera's flash unit's foot, WG-AS2 creates a seal against the ingression of dust and water.
