Novatron Digital Studio Kit D1500, with 4 Fan Cooled Heads, Case & Accessories.

The SK15D-4FC Digital Studio Kit is the most powerful kit designed and sold by Novatron. This kit contains four rugged 1500 watt-second, 2103-FC fan-cooled flashheads. These heads are ideal for use in soft boxes and other light modifiers that retain heat when left unventialted with standard heads. The power pack included is Novatrons D1500 which delivers more light output than most of those 2400 w-s systems.

The D1500 Power Pack is fully computer controlled and is step variable in 1/10'th f-stop increments over a 4-1/2 stop range for pinpoint control of your exposures.

Novatrons largest heavy duty case is included, equipped with casters and pull handle. Also included in this Kit are two 4011-A four-way barn doors, a 4021 Gel Kit, and a 4020-A Gel Holder.

The 2103-FC is a 3-way switching convertible flashhead that contains the controls to independently ratio the flash and modeling lamp at full, -1 stop, or -2 stops. It comes equipped with an internal fan, which aids in cooling the electronics and the user replaceable F0008 plug-in flash tube.

Fan cooling extends the power handling capacity of this head to 1500 watt-seconds. It comes equipped with a glass encapsulated 250-watt quartz halogen modeling lamp, a 25-foot power cord, and a flash tube protector sleeve. This convertible flashhead accepts the optional 6-1/2" #2032 and 16" #2034 detachable reflectors and is ideal for use in softboxes.

The D1500 is the most powerful in the new generation of rugged and sophisticated all digital flash power packs from Novatron. The 1500 watt-seconds fan cooled pack, is fully microprocessor controlled and has an output which is variable in 1/10'th stop increments over its' entire 4-1/2 stop power range (this is MORE than double the range of the previous 1500 watt-sec units!).

Output power is displayed on a 1/2 inch tall 4 digit LED display which is easily visible from many feet away under normal room lights. The D1500 power pack also provides misfire alarm functions and supports all standard Novatron flashheads and is sync voltage compatible with most current digital cameras on the market.

To support the new higher power modeling lamps, these packs have a second circuit breaker dedicated just for the lamps and are designated as Series II. This second breaker allows these units to handle the 250 watt halogen modeling lamps used in our fan-cooled flash heads (1000 watts total modeling lamp power per pack).
