The Half Riser... This Half version of the original Full Riser, giving you the versatility to add small increments in height when used in combination with OX Platforms and full height Full Risers.
Using two Full risers enables you to mount cameras in vertical positions or to stagger camera heights on the same platform. Used with cameras and lighting fixtures, extra height is attained by stacking risers. The resulting column is as rigid as if it were a single post.
Risers are custom machined for Overxposed Photographic Gear from solid stock 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum that has been anodized in deep red finish. The Full Riser has an ample 1 1/2-inch diameter mounting surface, is 1 3/4-inches in height and has a fixed 3/8-inch threaded stud.
Full Risers have knurled barrels with machined shoulders to protect them from locking together when stacked. The knurled barrel gives the user a non-slip gripping surface and allows users to disassemble stacked risers with out the uses of any tools.
Full and Half Risers are sold separately from platforms.
