CAROL L : What are the colors on each side? White and silver or white and black. My current reflector has white on one side and silver on the other. This is what I am looking for. Mine is old and worn out. ThanksDEAN S : Hi Carol - The colors are gold/white and black/silver for the two back/front combinations. There is a white translucent panel on the frame. I love mine and use it quite often.NEIL A : The inner disc (which is the only one that has a frame) is a diffuser, the outer disc (no frame) has silver on one side, and black on the other side. When you turn it inside out (no frame on this one either), you have gold on one side, and white on the other. You need to have the inner disc inserted and zipped up when using anything other than the diffuser as that is the only one that has the frame. The spring frame is covered with white translucent material that can be used to diffuse both studio light and direct sunlight. Shopper : I like to know does the frame come with it?GARY J : yesDEAN S : The translucent whit disk shown in the center of the picture has a circular frame built into it that keeps the shape of the reflector. However, the arm going across the disk shown in this picture does not come with it. I have not used the arm but have used the reflectors quite a bit with an assistant holding them - they work great. I have also used the translucent whit disk to provide shade/diffusion in bright sunlight. It really helped to soften the shadows and made the models squint less. Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?DEAN S : I prefer to shoot with natural light and wanted to have more flexibility to manipulate that light to eliminate shadows, provide front fill, etc.GARY J : Needed a reflector and this seemed like a good one for a fair price.

So Many Uses

I've used this in so many different scenarios, both in the studio and on location. The five surfaces means you have something for most an situation. Just a note, this setup does not include the holder. I use either a Photoflex holder, or an assistant. It is well built, and collapses into a compact package. Well worth the small investment.

Versatile reflector rig

Just used it on a wedding on an overcast grey day, the gold cover warmed up the light perfect in concert with a speedlight.

Handy, portable reflector set

I carry this everywhere. For outdoor macro shots the diffuser is great for decreasing shadows in bright sunlight. I use it with the Wescott Photo Basics Collapsible Reflector Holder and a standard light stand.

Great product for its value

Great product, the only problem is that the picture shows it has a frame. Be advised that the frame is optional, but it is worth to buy it.

Nice product

Nice and very versatile. The hardest part was figuring out how to close the thing! They should put instructions with it. I had to look on-line. Yeah, I'm blonde! LOL.
