I got the black color 7 L sling bag. I owned a lot of slings bags but I like this one the most because its nice material and super lightweight! It's seems very durable too. I am thinking about getting another one..maybe a smaller one in different color. It's worth the price.

I wanted a bag that I could use for general EDC as well as one I can pack away for travel. This sling is perfect for that. It packs down flat and has plenty of organization where you need it. I also find it very comfortable to wear. I'm a hobbyist photographer, so my setup is light. I plan on getting the XS Camera Cube to pair with this.

The Outdoor Sling is the perfect complement to my Peak Design backpack and can even be easily attached to it. It's great. I use the bag and the backpack to transport my camera, so I'm prepared for any situation. The various small pockets are well-organized and well-designed. The additional securing strap is very useful, especially when cycling.

Great bag, been using it on the mountain with my A7RV+ Tamron 70-180mm. The only issue I have is trusting the clip, I understand why it's low profile, but out of an abundance of caution I used a zip tie to make sure the bag doesn't accidentally come undone while I'm on the mountain or chair lift.

Fits most of my needs and we're loyal to Peak Design, so I'm happy with it. I will say, in my opinion, it's is priced a bit high what it is, but it is well-made and has nice organization.

I bought the Outdoor Sling 7L + Camera Cube (X-Small) + Packing Cube Carry Strap thru the Kickstarter campaign back in Oct24. The Sling 7L is excellent but too big for my daily needs (I also bought the Sling 2L which is perfect for my needs). I haven't find the way of getting the benefits of the Sling 7L and Camera Cube, together. Nonetheless, their quality is superb

I've not had this long enough to use extensively yet, but from the few times I've taken it out I can say that it's comfortable, and easy to access what you need, when you need it. I use mine with the XS camera cube which just about fits my R5 & 24-105 lens in. First improvement, especially when using this as a camera sling - the clasp to release the strap seems very easy to engage - a simple push and it's open. This makes me nervous when out and about with expensive camera gear in the bag. Second improvement would be that when using this with a camera cube, to somehow make better use of the space, as the xs cube seems to reduce the space dramatically (considering it's a 7L bag). I know this is not a dedicated camera bag, but this multi-functional modular system seems to be a good way forward, it just needs a little more tuning to ensure space is used as effectively as say in the everyday bags.

This bag is great! The material feels really nice and durable, it is lightweight and adaptable to different uses very easily. I use an XS camera cube with my camera and can easily pull it out to use for other items. Being able to use it as a hip pack or cross body is nice, and the external straps mean I can carry anything I need!

.. is the perfect camera sling for me. I use also the 2l sling if I'm out without the camera or want to have a sling next to me with my backpack.

Got this to enhance my collection of day/lumbar packs. I wanted something lighter, smaller and definitely more fashionable/less bulky than my other packs (Mountainsmith, 5.11), without sacrificing versatility and capabilities; something within the 6-8L range that I could take with me while running errands or sightseeing in the city, where I could carry a few phone accessories (cables, charger, battery, mini-tripod) as well as a lightweight jacket and a packable tote (useful when shopping). I've been using it every week since I got it. The only time I move back to a larger lumbar pack is when I'm going out with the kids to the playground or to drive our bikes, as I can carry their stuff with me (water, food, extra clothing). I got my Outdoor Sling via the Kickstarter campaign. Peak Design has become one of those few companies I trust blindly - when they announce something I need, you can bet I'll get it from them.

I was part of the kickstarter for this line. The bag is great looking, but it's not a dedicated camera sling. You need the extra-small cube to go inside it. And the top to the cube makes it awkward to use, and you wind up with unusable space. I would have preferred a sling with dedicated camera lining.

I bought this in the original kickstarter campaign and have been finding all sorts of uses for it since. From mountain biking, to walking around cities with all my supplies for the day (including a camera), to almost anything else I've thought of so far. It also packs down to almost no volume, so now I tend to throw it into my suitcase whenever I travel, just in case. The many pockets in the product make it easy to organise a bunch of different load outs, but also stay out of the way when you're not using them.

I absolutly love this bag. I was looking for a sling for quite some time but nothing really conviced me. Glad I waited. I'm a bit of an overorganizer in my bags and love that there a so many small pockets for my items. I love how the size adapts. When it needs to, it holds the water bottles for the kids, a box of snacks and my wallet - and their jackets strapped under. These straps are my favourite feature. And the extra pocket for the mobile phone. Since it is the pocket to my back, I noticed I can keep my phone on vibrate an still notice beeing called. It's the small things of this sling. Like the key chain in the front pocket or how you can hide the ends of the shoulder strap. I just love this bag.

I bought this to go inside my 45l outdoor line backpack. it's simply too small to fit my camera and standard zoom lens. haven't used it at all due to this fact

I have this outdoor sling and both x-small and small camera cubes. Only the x-small camera cube can fit in the sling. The only issue i have is I am using the full frame camera with a telephoto lenses. With the lens attached to the camera, my set up does not fit in the x-small cube. It would be 5* if there is any camera cube bigger than the x-small and it fit the sling.

I really like slings, especially on rainy days, and their portability.

It's lightweight and provides enough protection paired with a cube. The only learning curve was the buckle, which I opened accidentally a couple of times.

Used it on its own and also with the XS camera cube and it's perfect. Love the back slip pocket for my phone and the padded sling strap. With the strap on the full extended setting, the bag sits on my hip (I'm 5 ft 3) and my shoulder wasn't bothered by the weight off my Nikon z6ii and 24-70mm f/4 lens. And the Eclipse color is awesome. Highly recommend!

This product is a typical peakdesign. Very good made, high quality, stylisch and overall an amazing product. I use it several times a week as a small rucksack replacement. Only thing I would do differently next time is to order the rucksack aswell.

I have tries a number of small slings and have found this to be just the right fit. Adding the xxs photo cube has make it just perfect to take my Leica kit wherever I go. Small enough to be comfortable and large enough to carry what I need.

I've been using mine for several months and it's been great! Overall I preferred the outdoor sling's layout to the everyday sling's layout.

Bought this around 3 months ago along with the camera cube. Very slick design with the just the right amount of pockets and storage. Was surprised at how much I could cram in to it! Very comfortable adjustable fit Only been exposed to light rain showers, but appears to be really waterproof

Color is great, organizational features and pockets are well thought out. Bag is adjustable in size so you can carry a little or a bunch of stuff. I have never had luck with smaller sling type bags because l like to carry quite a bit with me- planner, a pouch with random stuff (lens cleaner, nail clippers, etc), and whatever project I'm working on (art stuff or crochet). With this bag I can fit it all and most of the time I still have room to tuck away a small purchase as I'm out and about. The elastic cords on the outside have come in handy multiple times for my rain jacket or puffy jacket when you're out during shoulder season and never sure if you're gonna be hot or cold. Love this bag so much I bought two so I could give one to my best friend and she uses it all the time as well. Also appreciate the unique color. The outdoor gear world tends to lean in on really exaggerated gender colors- think coyote for men's gear and pastel purple for women. This color is so unique and truly unisex while not being boring. The fabric has held up well to pretty constant use and I am not careful with it. Strap is well thought out in width and amount of padding- comfortable without looking like a through hiking hip belt across your chest. Also appreciate the feel of the fabric- it slides well across all fabric for easy access back to front without sheen but also doesn't pick up any lint or dog hair. Stress points are sewn well, it's a daily use bag and has been since it arrived. If anything were to happen to it I would be ordering another right away, which I can't say for almost all the other bags I have tried.

I purchased five slings, including Northface Patagonia and nomadic, and the peak design was the clear winner. It was lightweight, super easy to carry, and had a nice clean design to it. The storage was super user-friendly and considering I'm not a sling guy I've been carrying this thing with me a lot. I would highly recommend it. I also love how it integrates with the rest of their Storage products so you can use them to expand the capacity

It has only one drawback: it is too small for me if we are talking about photography. It will only hold a small camera cube: there is no space for additional lens. But still I love it. Used it a lot on my travel to carry my personal stuff when touring.

I got this one backed on the Kickstarter. I'm using the sling for daily committing, dog walking, car driving etc. for over 4 months. So I packed all the stuff I need over a typical day: all keys, a charger with a cable, sunglasses, some cloth. A big iPhone with a case fits perfectly in the external pocket. The sling can be extended to fit a 0,5L bottle or a big coffee can. Even a rain jacket can be packed inside the main pocket without causing any discomfort. The sling, even loaded, is very a lightweight one. The belt protects well for pressure. A small cord can be used for better hold on the back. If I require a bigger storage, I pick my PD Daily Backpack and put this sling as a small stuff container between two separators inside the backpack. Now in winter, I'm carrying the sling over my right shoulder on the back. The hip carrying not tested. For summer, I got a small 2L sling. Some cons are there though. Because of very light weight, the sling lacks the form stability. So in most cases, both hands are needed to close and open the zipper. The belt clip occasionally opens, if a hand grips on it, to move the sling from the back to the chest. The sling falls in this case to the ground. I'm carrying no camera in it, so no expensive damage so far. But it can go worse, if the ground is dirty. In overall, a good item with few weak solutions in design.

I used this all through London on my day walks. Fit a wallet, small water bottle, glasses, and some odd and ends. I even got a compact travel umbrella in it once. I loved that there were 2 exterior zippered compartments, the main one and a smaller on in from so I didn't have to fish around in the main one for everything. I also loved all the inside compartments for odds and ends. I understand that these are mainly maid for camera stuff so I can see the smaller inside compartments fit lens filters maybe but they are a tad short for lipsticks and pens, as they tend to fall out. I wish they were a bit deeper. or maybe only make 2 larger ones instead of more smaller ones. Also the exterior bottom hooks with cords that tighten and loosen the bottom to since it, the plastic clips with hooks kept coming off of the small cord loops so they were dangling. But overall, I really liked the bag

I own the 6L sling. This 7L sling is light, but maybe it's the design, it doesn't feels like it is bigger than the 6L, feels smaller than the 6L
