I thought this would be a useful bag to keep at my seat when flying, and use it as a sling when travelling, but I think slings are just not for me. I realized I wanted something bigger to carry my laptop too. Also wish it had a zipper and/or MAGNETS to close instead of the velcro which doesn't seem super secure. Oh well. I use it at home for camera gear storage now.

I have been using it for half a year, it has never disappointed my daily trips ? an iPad mini, a charger, a power bank ? and all other accessories that needed to keep the trips going!

I bought this to help organize gear for a two week trip across several European cities. It was perfect for holding small odds and ends. The pockets are handy for organization and the expanding size is great for adapting to different cargo. The belt pass through is great for a hip belt or sternum strap to keep things accessible when wearing a backpack. Since the trip it has replaced my usual sling bag to keep my personal effects inside my work backpack.

This holds & protects my G3X & viewfinder, and takes up half the space of my prev bag.

Field Pouch V2 was delivered in late Feb 2024 - my 1st PD purchase. I love the pouch, but your STRAP with the OPEN HOOKS that is supposed to SNAP onto the 2 loops on the pouch DOES NOT WORK WELL at all. At least 4 times, one end of the strap has come off, most often upon getting out of a car, or after getting up from a sitting position, when there is no gravity pulling down on the pouch to keep the strap taut. In other words, if there is any slack in the strap, it can easily detach. This is a poor design and I don't want to risk losing my valuables. I emailed the company about this and they suggested buying their Lease strap - it costs the same as the pouch itself!! The Slide and Slide Lite straps look great, but they are very expensive (saw less expensive straps online), more than what I paid for the pouch, and I feel like the pouch should come with a similar strap system, or at least a closed hook strap!! If I want to feel confident that this will not fall off/into a cliff/bridge/water when I get up from a bench, I will have to replace with a strap that connects using carabiner or other clips that are secure. My other comment is the strap is very NARROW (5/8" wide) and when there is a lot of weight in pouch, the strap digs in. The pouch is great- the strap, not so.

I bought this and a really like the fabric and the ability to change is size. The mini pockets inside the zippered pocket are to small for lip balm. Also the clips on the straps are smaller than those on the straps with the everyday bag. I wish those clips were included. They stay clips better. If you ever make a purse version of the field pouch, a magnet latch closure would be quiter, than velcro. Love the midnight blue

This is a typically quality product from Peak Design and the reason why I look to them first for all my travel needs/gear. This little expandable item can contain car keys, passport, power bank, wallet, credit card case and more, and I use it daily for anything I need to carry with me when I am out and about or in the office

I just needed something small and light enough to carry around a few essentials while I was on holiday in California - passport, keys, wallet - basically, anything I wasn't comfortable with leaving in the hire care or motel room while out and about. This little bag filled that need nearly perfectly. Size, weight etc is all perfect, the only thing I wasn't 100% about was the strap which had a tendency to come unhooked a bit too frequently. I might swap it out with another strap when I get home if I can find something suitable.

The pouch is durable and made of a thick material. The velcro makes it so easy to adjust and to access my camera. Best of all, it looks stylish and I can attach it to a belt or backpacking bag's waist belt when I go backpacking.

I love this bag size wise as I never liked bulky items. Perfect for my A6600 with 18-130 if I want to carry the camera inside. Or I can fit my wallet, keys and all essentials inside, fit the capture to it and carry the attached to it. The aperture is sometimes weird, same feeling as with roll-bags and I would prefer an anchor with many loops instead of the velcro. Also the V1 had a much better texture feel.

I recently got the Fujifilm X100VI camera. I did a lot of research to find a bag that was small and yet functional as my camera bag. I finally decided on the Field Pouch and I couldn't be happier. It is nicely designed and very practical.

No, I swear! I was searching for a small bag for day trips. It was important that it wasn't too big and heavy, but it should fit all my essentials and then some. I was quite intrigued that this Field Pouch is so flat, but can expand in height due to its clever closing flap - so it's never chunky even if you stuff it really full; it never protrudes much from your body. What I really didn't expect is that my everyday camera (Leica Q2) even fits inside! So that's a nice plus, because the Field Pouch is nicely padded, and I really trust it. The material also feels really nice; it's robust and even keeps my stuff from getting wet. With this Field Pouch, I bought a Peak Design Slide. An unstoppable duo, if you ask me. The neat thing about this is that the Slide came with four Anchors, so I put two on my Field Pouch and two on my Leica, which makes switching super easy and fast. Since I got the Field Pouch, I have it with me almost every day, so the Slide mostly stays there. But on days when I don't carry my Field Pouch, the Slide goes on my camera. I absolutely love this setup, and I'm definitely hooked on Peak Design products.

I bought this a few weeks ago to use with my Fujifilm x100v, and it has been NEARLY perfect. The expandable space inside is great for my x100v with Cinebloom filter + Squarehood attached, and the material is great for weather resistance. However, I really love Peak Design's hardware features and was disappointed to see this bag has velcro that sticks on EVERYTHING. The material of the bag is also a type that caught on my jacket leading it to pill (had to return as it was really bad after only a couple uses). Otherwise, really great product, just would really have loved to see this product borrow the metal clasp from the Everyday Backpacks - that would be amazing.

Great product but I had planned to use it as a hip pouch on my belt while I am at work (farmwork). The Velcro doesn't hold it shut if I am moving around a lot. I had to discontinue using it. I don't think I overfilled it (100ml tube sunscreen, Leatherman multi tool, phone and some gloves) I like all the Peak Design gear that I own. They make great stuff. The Velcro just ruins this for me (they are very clear in their marketing material that this is secured shut with Velcro, I just didn't realize it would be a problem)

I got this after getting the V1 and using that as a 'Hotel Go Bag' as I frequently travel for work V1 has some cables and chargers + a Roku express and Remote so I am never with out charging options and entertainment in my room at night V2 is my go to bag for a Fuji x100v and wallet for going around town

I bought this 4 years ago and it was only last month that the Velcro stopped fastening. Replaced really quickly and will continue to use this daily. Always has worked like a charm.

I've bought the pouch this month. It's my third product from Peak Design (the first two were coyote 30l backpack and tech pouch). Overall I'm very impressed with quility and small features in it. It seems that every detail is taken into account, like in other peak design products. I was looking for such go-to bag for a long time!

Bought this product and use it all the time. I have previously had a large purse that carries absolutely everything but 90% of the things I pack around are used maybe 2% of the time. This great bag allows me to carry essentials (plus a couple others) but provides a good limit on unnecessary items that weigh my other bags down. It's so versatile and I carry what I need for a hike or town very easily. It even allows for a small knitting project and has great spots for my measuring tape, scissors, printed pattern, stitch counter and much more. I was initially concerned that the outside Velcro might snag on my clothes but it's the soft side and hasn't caused any issue.

Product meets the high expectations the brand created for itself? aside of the strap. Plastick hooks, thin and light - not giving confidence. Also, in general it is surely overprised, but so is Mercedes and Bentley :)

I purchased this item in preparation for a move to a country where the crime rate is quite high. I like the idea of being able to wear the pouch on my belt, as well as around my shoulders. The field pouch is my 6th Peak Design bag, and like all the others it is so well-made. There is such pride in owning something perfectly suited for its purpose. It gives me a sense of security to know that I will be able to carry valuable items close to me, discreetly, and in such a neat and stylish package.

So... I bought this a while ago because it sounded like a great idea- a small pouch for all those random things! But in practice, it's been too small for me for a carry around, and too big for a "little items" pouch. If you're looking into this I'd highly recommend you take advantage of the 30 days return policy to try and find if it will work for you. For some context on what can fit though, I have been able to fit an iPad Mini in it!

I bought this bag as a personal bag for travel. Overall it is a great bag that is well made. I wish that it was RFID blocking or at least had an RFID pocket. The SD card pockets could be a little lower in the inside pocket to allow them to hold other things (they're jjust too close to the zipper). One other minor quibble is that one of the strap clips seems to slide off a bit easier than I expect (and easier than my other PD products.) Overall a nice bag that I will use for travel.

You can't go back to not using it

It's super! Easy to use and access while traveling, and perfect for the daily commutes to organise my gears. It's been a month that I've been using it and I don't remember how it was before I got it, superb materials too. It's everything it promises and more.
Super functional man purse / fanny pack

I realized recently that i?m tired of stuffing my pockets. Wallet, phone, keys were somewhat manageable, but once our phones got bigger and we started adding airpods and masks to the mix it started to become unwieldy and unsightly. I saw a bunch of gen-z?ers resuscitating fanny packs from the 90s and realized they might be onto something. My millennial envy compelled me to investigate further. I was a bit nervous about buying the field pouch since it?s one of the lower reviewed Peak Design ...

As a minimalist carryall, the award-winning Field Pouch stands alone. But don't call it a loner. That's because Field Pouch is 2 bags in 1: it's your solo daybag for essential carry, and it's your trusty wing-bag, keeping smaller items organized within a larger bag. A unique hook-and-loop roll-top opening grants easy access, massive expansion (it doubles in volume), and quick compression to eliminate unused space. Inside you'll find a thoughtful layout of stretch pockets and zip pockets to keep cords, cards, batteries, keys-even small lenses or camera bodies-organized and not jingling around.
Included ultralight adjustable strap enables cross-body or shoulder carry, and integrated belt loops allow for waist carry. For a lightweight shooting setup, attach a Capture Clip (sold separately) and keep your camera outside the pouch-keep your rig at-the-ready, and increase storage space for accessories. All fabrics are recycled and Bluesign approved, including the soft internal felt liner and the 400D double poly-coated weatherproof nylon canvas shell.
Now in its 2nd generation, the V2 Field Pouch features tons of usability optimizations like an included strap, improved pocket layout, and dual Capture attachment points.
Updated patterning integrates loads of functionality into single, sweeping seam lines for a timeless, minimal look.
