ROBERT S : how hot does this dryer get ?ANDREW R : I believe that the maximum temp is approximately 195° F
JESSICA R : I've only used larger models of RC print dryers. I cannot seem to find any information about the process for drying with this particular model. This may sound naive, but ow does this dryer work?MALLON, R : Prints are placed on the heated chrome surface and then the cloth hold-down stretches over the prints and latches down. Printed can be dried on both the top and bottom. The cloth hold-down also allows moisture to escape.MICHAEL H : it's a nice hotplate. nothing more. does it work ? sure. it's main virtue is that it doesn't cost a couple grand like roller driers do; if you're expecting professional results, you won't get them here. for what it's worth, we use it to dry handmade paper when we're in a rush.

Nice little dryer

I'm glad these are still available. I have had one for 25 years and it still works beautifully. I kept it as a backup to my drum dryer and have given it to my son for his courses in college.
