It Should Have Come with the Camera

The AC adaptor has essentially two uses. One is for tethered use of the camera and the other is for downloading files from the camera. One thing for sure is that anyone who owns a Sigma DP camera must have either this AC adaptor or a high quality card reader. Downloading and reviewing files from the camera using the battery is a risky business, since the camera can simply shutdown during the process causing great inconvenience and possible loss of data.

It is possible to power the DP-1 digital camera from a wall outlet using the provided AC Adapter (SAC-3). When using your camera for an extended period of time, reviewing the pictures or connecting the camera to a computer. *AC cable varies depending on the country. Please use a suitable AC cable when traveling.
