Traci H : Will this fit the SLIK ABLE 300 DX?JOYCE S : I don't know what you mean by the Silk Able. I have this case and like it a lot.ROBERT M : No, it will not fit. The Able 300DX measures 27.8" collapsed, including the head. The case measures about five inched less than that inside (23" outside length). I don't own the tripod system, so I don't know what the length of the (removed) head would be, but I seriously doubt that removing it would provide the needed five-plus inches to allow a fit. The case DOES have a zipper which opens around the case end, allowing a very close fit for a tripod.JOHN A : The case is light weight not padded does not offer protection. The tripod is badly made and mine has broken already.

Brand Name Tripod Bag

This is a SLIK name brand tripod bag. By touch, I feel that the bag is made of durable nylon material, but this bag has no internal padding inside. I have not taken the bag outside, due to pandemic, but I think it can last. I have a old SLIK Action tripod that fits inside this bag. One end of the strap attaches to the middle of the bag, so when carrying this bag, the strap is attached closer to the shoulder to form a closer loop, rather than forming a wide triangle around the shoulder. There is name tag holder on the bag, so you can put your business card there. I think this SLIK name brand tripod bag is also good for other brand tripods, because this bag has name brand.

Perfect fit for my tripod

For the price, it is a very good purchase. Add to that good materiel, and a perfect fit for my Slik tripod, which has been with me about 40 years and still works like the first day. I am sure the case will last quite a while

What can I say. It fits my Slik U9000 tripod and will also hold a monopod if you don't mind them banging together. Has a shoulder strap for ease of carrying, made from sturdy material. Good case.

Beautiful looking tripod case

Bought a CF 714 Slik, with a ball head, and this case fits the apparatus perfectly. Wish the carry strap were a bit longer, but thats just being really picky.... the case really looks nice and fits well. Am taking it on a week long trip, will update this review if I find any issues.
