This is the second of these I have bought and they connect to each other flawlessly. I am a bit of a Sony buff so am slightly biased but they are a cut above a lot of speakers out there for more money. Really well made and good looking with room filling sound that supports LDAC and just sound great.

I’m so disappointed with this product. I purchased August 2017 and was immediately disappointed with the sound quality, it doesn’t get very loud and for 150+ price range I was very disappointed with this speaker. The speaker does not hold a charge for long and after I was away this summer overseas, the speaker now won’t turn on. It will not charge and after calling it is out of warranty. I absolutely would NOT recommend this product and this will be the last Sony product I purchase. Customer service was unable to provide any assistance due to the 1 year warranty period. Respectfully I would still say 1 year and 2 months later the product ceased to function as promised and I am extremely disappointed. DONT BUY this product, go on amazon and buy a Shark speaker, my mom and boyfriend both have one and they are half the price, TWICE the quality.

After 1 month using it, I’m in love with this speaker. Great sound quality, easy to use especially using NFC features and easy to bring to anywhere. Nice design and not so bulky and easy to handle.

Bought this last month. Audio : perfect for small rooms eg. bedroom, awesome clarity, bass at normal & low volume good but weakens at 70% and above. Balanced sound. Connectivity : great in the sense you can connect using Bluetooth, Chromecast or Spotify Connect. Haven't tried wired connection yet. LDAC improves sound quality but when set to prioritize audio, there'll be interruption in playback (disappointing). Hoping future firmware updates will solve this. Battery : so far when fully charged, battery will deplete 40% after playing 5-6 hours at normal volume. So maybe as advertised. Support : Songpal app is easy to use and most settings can be found there eg. equaliser, power off, set sound quality, add music apps, etc. Sucks that after installing Google Home you can't cast from Songpal app anymore though. Firmware updated as of Feb 2018. Make sure to update as it helps improves sound and stability. Hoping to see further updates Sony. Overall I'm very satisfied because for the price I bought (RM 309), this was a value for money purchase.

Bought online for a great deal, nice feature for streaming with Google Cast and Spotify Connect. Sound a bit contained inside box but still good enough for casual streaming for such a price. A real bargain. Downside is a really heavy box to carry around.

I purchased a Sony phone , I got the speaker with it , what an excellent piece of kit. It sounds so rich, natural and full. Massive sound from such a small speaker. I always buy Sony, I am never disappointed. I would highly recommend.

Had this little speaker for several months and very happy with it. Mainly used to listen to music from my DLNA server and iPlayer radio. Super easy to use, reliable.

I recently purchased a pair of these speakers to use as a part of a wireless surround sound for my Sony soundbase. They are simple to set up, as individual speakers they pack a punch thanks to the extra bass feature. When used as a pair they perform great as a stereo set up. They are sturdy and robust, a really good choice.

Speaker performs amazingly indoors, with excellent clarity and full bodied sound at a decent volume level. Incredible amounts of bass with the Extra Bass feature on and at around 40-60% volume, especially considering the small size. Outdoors the speaker loses a lot of bass, unsurprisingly given the size of it. You will likely also lose Wifi playback, which sounds better and is unlikely to cut out, unlike Bluetooth. Google Cast/Spotify Connect setup and playback is incredibly easy and sounds great; Bluetooth streaming is even easier with NFC compatibility. LDAC compatibility allows for better quality streaming over Bluetooth, and it works great.

I write this review in hopes that Sony will see it and address the issue I am having with the product. I purchased two of the hear and go speakers to complete my wireless system. Unfortunately, I have to pair each speaker every time I want the full surround. It's a pain in the neck and and become so tiresome I only pair them when it's "absolutely necessary ". I also did not like having to download chrome cast to pair all the speakers. This process worked 20 % of the time. It would take twenty to thirty minutes of frustrating attempt before I could get everything to connect. To add misery on top of this all, the speakers would lose their connection every time. I am very disappointed with this product and have given up on trying to make it work the way it is supposed to. The sound quality is awesome and I love it when it's operating at 100%. It just never happens

This item gains mixed reporting in reviews but it does exactly what Sony say it will do and competes well with similar and higher priced like items on the market. Extremely pleased that we chose the Sony units.

Bought 2 of these for surround sound use and to be used separately in the garden/kitchen. Really easy to set up but the music centre app is a bit clunky so needs attention. Good quality build and sound is great with hi-res files.

This is a very versatil unit; I can connect my phone via Bluetooth, my laptop and tablet over WiFi and my Walkman with a short jack cable so it serves every purpose imaginable.
