Questions & Answers

Steve L : Oddly, this does not sync with my Speedotron unit. Works with everything else but not the item it shows up for. Even sold on the Speedotron website. What am I missing?ANDREW R : For tech support or troubleshooting I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer.
Shopper : Works with FLASH canon 580 ExII, and canon camera EOS1D? ThanksJOHN C : In order to trigger the flash off camera, you need an adapter with a 1/8" female plug on it. It should have a shoe mount (or some way to mount the flash on a light stand) on the bottom and a hotshoe on the top. You simple plug the 1/8" plug into the adapter and it will receive the signal from the transmitter on your Canon 1D. Remember, this will only give you manual flash capability, not ETTL.ANDREW R : Yes, though you will need to sync the flash unit using PC sync cable (not included).

Almost...

While this unit would trigger two Sunpak mono lights it would NOT trigger my Speedotron 2400. I tried several different pc cords and polarity. It did work okay with the moonlights but there is a bit of lag as well.

Been Using for Years

This works great for our studio. We just bought this as a backup to the one we have been using for years.

would be nice if it mentioned the delay

I'm new at this so to my surprise there's such a thing as the "delay factor" in some remote trigger/receivers. if i knew that this one could only shoot at 125 of a second i would buy a different system that would allow me to shoot full 250.[...]
