General: I own 3 Tamrac products...a zoom pack, an Expedition pack and this strap. I used to own an earlier model zoom pack for a 35mm film camera. All are excellent build quality. The earlier zoom pack was "schlepped" all around the world for 20+ years. The rest are getting their due wear. This strap is in the same rating category: excellent. The materials are ballistic. I specifically chose this model over the others because I don't care for anything neoprene. The best feature of this strap is the quick release. I will regularly remove the strap to attach a better walking-around shoulder strap. When finished with the shoulder strap, I merely snap the Tamrac back on. The team at Canon obviously pays more attention to the cameras and lenses (as they should) than the accessories. The straps shipped with their cameras are ok quality, but a major pain to remove. Tamrac has easily solved that. The strap is also "low profile" with a small logo id close to the quick release. No showing off here. I have NOT tried this strap with a heavy set-up (i.e. heavy lens) so cannot speak to the comfort there. There is no padding to speak of.

I bought this because I wanted the Tamrac N-11 Backpack Camera Stap and having this quick release strap would make life easier. I was suprised to find that this strap is soft, comfortable and the non slip is great. Better than the original strap I was using. So, all in all with or without my backpack it is comfortable having my camera 'hang' around.

Great strap - cool design. Was worried that it wouldn't offer enough padding to carry a D300 with 80-200 f/2.8, but that is not the case. Anti-slip works like a charm and the quick release works with my old suede Tamrac from the early 90's. You should buy this strap.

Just love Tamrac stuff - low key, easy to use, sturdy, and light weight. I use this when I carry more than one cameras - one with the short hand strap, the other using this longer one, so I don't have to fumbling through the bag to switch one to the other in the fields.

This lightweight and strong camera strap has two full-length rubber tracks woven into the material to prevent shoulder slip. The quick-release buckles allow the camera to be removed for tripod or copy stand work and can be interchanged with all other Tamrac quick-release systems.
