Great strap to use on heavier cameras. I upgraded from the stock strap which was very taxing on my nec to this very comfortable and well made strap. I use a Nikon D600 adn with the 70-200mm 1.8 lens this strap comfortably distributes the weight and torque of the long heavy lens. I would definitely recommend this

I am a self-admitted Tamrac fan boy and own several of their bags/backpacks. This strap is used on a Canon 7D with a EF 70-300L lens. The shoulder piece is wide neoprene backed by tough nylon. It acts as a shock absorber so the weight of the camera plus lens feels light on the back of the neck. It has two plastic quick-release fasteners that, although they have never failed, I back up with two thin S-biner carabiners for a fail safe connection. A fellow photographer friend tried my rig and immediately bought one for himself.

I use this strap anytime I'm not on a tripod. It is extremely comfortable and the wide neoprene flex (backed by nylon woven strap for security) absorbs all the weight of the camera plus lens. I added S carabiners to the quick release tabs for more insurance against inadvertent release, but that's just me.

The Tamrac N5057 Boomerang strap is one of the best camera gear purchases I have made. It allows me to carry my Canon 7D with 70-300L lens for hours comfortably around my neck. The neoprene is backed with a narrower nylon strap for security. Because I don't trust the plastic quick release straps (although I've had no problem with them), I have added two S-biner hooks for insurance. This strap is so good that a long-time photographer friend, after trying mine on, ordered one for himself. This beats the Canon strap by a mile and avoids advertising to potential thieves that you are carrying a valuable piece of equipment.

Likes: Wide and comfortable arond my neck. Dislikes: With a heavy lens it slips off my shoulder.

Picked this up to go with a new D300 - wanted something that helped a little with the weight. I was pleasantly surprised by the way the shock absorbing design made the camera feel lighter. Would like to be able to shorten it up another inch or two but otherwise a great product.

Elastic give is helpful for comfort even with heavy camera, yet firm enough to avoid bouncing. Only improvement necessary is to add non-slip surface on underside of strap so it can be more stable when worn on outside shoulder.

I shoot in the mountains frequently; mountain biking, landscapes, skiing, etc. Being able to switch from my Boomerang strap to the backpack straps with the same camera or switch between cameras with the quick-release buckles is a life-saver! The comfort of the neoprene neck padding is great for a long carry as well.

All Tamrac camera straps are designed to work with slotted connectors and standard, split-ring connectors. All straps with quick connectors can be interchanged with any other Tamrac strap allowing cameras to be quickly changed with various strap systems.
This wide, contoured, stretchy neoprene rubber strap holds most digital SLRs andmemory cards while absorbing the weight for all-day comfort. Two neoprene memorycard holders provide convenient access to memory cards while shooting. The quick-release buckles are interchangeable with other Tamrac quick-release camerastraps.
