I was looking for a camera backpack that would allow safe storage of my Nikon Z6II with the Nikkor Z 180-600mm lens and 1.4x TC connected. This bag works perfectly for that task! Additionally, there is plenty of room for other lenses and accessories. My compact tripod attaches well using just the straps, but I like that the bag can accommodate a larger tripod as well. When loaded up with gear, the backpack is quite comfortable to wear. I don't always use the hip belt, but I like that it's there as an option. Overall, this bag is everything I was hoping it would be, and more.

I received the StreetWalker Pro 2.0 as a gift a few years back and it has been the best camera bag I've ever owned. Recently, and with my aging body, I've wanted to cut down on the bulk where I can. So I purchased this version of the bag I already loved. It has not disappointed me in any way. Its durability and design still hold up all these years later. When mirrorless cameras first came out you needed the extra depth to fit all the lenses in. But now the tech has advanced and everything I'd want to carry fits in great. Overall I'm very pleased with this latest addition to my ThinkTank arsenal. Their stuff isn't cheap, but it's all built to last so the investment is a bit more worth it!

I bought this bag at B&H in NY. Incredibly well made with the best materials and design. Love the flat bottom of the bag which allows the bag to stand upright. However, if I had to buy a walk around bag again, I'd go for a slighter deeper and wider model (>20 litre of this bag), which will allow the Nikon Z9 to be placed at the top of the bag as well and a 14" MacBook Pro instead of only at 10" tablet.

My curiosity about the current availability of this bag brought me here. Thought I would leave some comments. I have owned this bag for a long time now. Travelled on quite a few international trips using it as camera/tech gear carry on. I always end up carrying more gear than I probably need. But to be able to roll it across airports, bare ground, and snow covered fields, has been a huge convenience factor me. I only used it as a backpack a few times when I did not want airplane gate staff to spot it and force me to check it in. Only criticism from me is about the thickness of the bag especially on smaller planes (recently flew Bombardier CRJ900, one time it did go in, another time under the seat since these planes have quite a bit space under their seat) and overhead bins in buses. In regular aircraft its fine. I did have to carry it loaded on my lap recently in bus at Yellowknife. When loaded up it can be painful. But for me its strengths still stands out given how many trips i have taken with this bag - Iceland, Chile, NZ, Yellowknife, Guatemala, Peru and more over the years.

I actually have not used this for travel yet. I bought this for an upcoming workshop I will be doing early next year in Costa Rica. I have rigged it the way that I want to carry my gear and found that it holds everything that I need very nicely. It rolls very nicely in all my test runs and appears to be very well made. I like that it has replaceable parts if I should ever wear it out, which I hope to in my travels to many, many places.

So I bought this bag around a year ago, but I wanted to use it for awhile before writing a review. When it came time to replace a bag I'd had for over 20 years, I ordered and returned about 6 different bags from at least 4 companies. This one gave me the best balance between holding enough of my stuff but not so much that I wouldn't be able to carry it. I'm 5'5" and 118 pounds, so I do have my limits. I shoot a Pentax dslr and frequently a 35mm and/or medium format film as well. Lens-wise, I use a fair number of Lensbabies, so not too many huge lenses. I'm able to reconfigure this bag fairly well to hold enough to go for a wander and not regret leaving something behind. If I minimize my lens choices, I can get the dslr and the P645n in the bag. Two things I'd change if I could are: 1-the outer pockets needs to have gussets so they can hold more. I have random little things I'd like to carry as well as snacks and I don't really want the snacks in the main compartment. The side pockets don't hold good-sized water bottles (I have a Camelback) either. 2 - The rain protector should at least be reversible to blaze orange. I hike in state forests in PA and they allow hunting at least in some. The seasons for hunting are weird and cover much more of the year than just two weeks in November. Since the bag pretty much covers my whole back, it would be nice if the rain cover was not black.

So I bought this bag because I wanted to haul more of my camera gear on vacations. The first one I bought, I found a design flaw in the back pack strap flap. When you go to unzip the back pack flap and fold it back, it pulls hard on the zippers and my zipper pulled right off of the track. Think tank replaced my bag free of charge but made me pay to ship it back. My 375 dollar bag cost me 475 dollars which was a bummer. Another thing I noticed after using it is the dimensions stated on the website are undersized and the actual bag is way thicker. If you use this as a carry on bag, know that it is a out an inch thicker and probably would not fit in a bag sizer at the airport unless you compress it. When taking it on tour buses on. Vacation it is to thick to fit in the overhead bin so you will either need to put it under the bus or awkwardly between your legs or on your lap. I had to put I on my lap on two different occasions and it was not comfortable. I carried one body and 3 lenses and my total bag weight was about 28 lbs, very heavy. I wish I would have gotten a slightly smaller and lighter weight bag for my needs.

I needed a bigger camera bag that had back pack straps but could roll when you go through an airport. I just ordered the street walker which is a nice bag and seems to fit all my camera gear. Overall, it is a nicely constructed bag but the first one I had experienced a flaw with the back pack strap compartment. The back pack strap zippers are a lighter weight lighter duty zipper and when you unzip it and fold the backpack flap back, it really pulls and strains on the zippers. The first time I did it, One of the zippers busted loose off the track with no real way to repair it. Think tank has good customer service in the fact that they swapped it out for me, but really bummed me out to see I had to pay to ship it back. My $375 bag ended up costing me $475. Also, with the back pack straps on the back of the bag, it really bulges out the dimension to about 10" instead of the advertised 9" for those wondering about the actual carry on size.

A friend recommended this bag for photography walk around and I love it. It's just the right size and has space for all the things you'll want for an outing. It easily holds my camera and a couple of lens, accessories, personal items, water bottle and has straps for a compact tripod. It's light weight, well made and cleverly designed. Also has the right amount of pockets for those necessary extras.

I love this bag so much! I have been looking for a bag that will hold my gear that opens on the front and has pockets for all the extras. I can fit two Cannon R6s with lenses, usually a 14-35, and a 70-200. As well as two other large lenses. This bag is sturdy but not heavy. It is comfortable to carry around. I highly recommend it!

The clear vinyl turns yellow and disgusting, like it's melting. Pretty gross and disappointing. They should have used mesh. My bag after 10+ years is in excellent condition because I take care of it, but this was a major oversight on their part.

As a professional broadcast, videographer and photographer, I have used Think Tank bags for decades. They hold their shape like none other. Their designs consider every possible function. They are comfortable and quick. I would sleep with them, but I save that for my cameras.

I purchased this bag for international travel and it serves me well. Fits my 600mm, 300mm, and camera body with ease with plenty of extra space for a few travel essentials. The pockets are very well designed and make accessing essentials a breeze. Can't believe I ever traveled without this bag!

Owned v1, so far very happy with it, especially its size (good enough to let your arms move around), also the side pocket to fit your water bottle Couple defects? 1) the tripod pocket not really useful (I just simply hang my middle-sized tripod on the waist strap I bought for it) 2) i wish it comes with waterproof zipper 3) MOST important: the interior plastic pocket not really durable, mine cracked and scattered into pieces after years of using, suggest they shud use the mesh material of its outer pocket to replace it

Normally I put my camera backpack in a carryon suitcase but then I've got three items when I put them in the back of a car. So thought I'd try a rolling backpack for a trip to Iceland but concerned this might be too heavy as a backpack. Not at all! I am 5'2" and it fits very comfortably on my back. Not any heavier than a regular backpack. Enough room for a Z8 and Z7ii and three lens and filters. I would highly recommend this backpack!!

It a very good size to carry a heavy pro camera load comfortable especially with Pro Speed Belt V3.0. It is small enough that in a busy travel terminal or airport, it does not bump into other travelers when waiting in line. With the Pro Speed Belt V3.0 it is very handy in the field as it allow me to have a 1 or 2 smaller lenses handy to use with a long telephoto lens on tripod without having to take the backpack off. As for it size is easily fit into the smaller overhead on some wide body airplanes windows side and the smaller airplanes of 12 to 50 passengers. With its top handle it acts as stability load handing from tripod center on windy days.

I love this pack. I was looking for something small enough to be a camera grab bag yet large enough for walk about gear. The backpack holds my Nikon Z9 with attached 100-400mm, a 24-120 f4 lens, a 16-35 f4, a 1.4x and a 2x extender with FTZ adapter and a speedlight. Extra pockets on the outside handle batteries and misc stuff. Water bottle pockets on each side and a tripod carry pocket with straps on the front carry everything I need for a walkabout without getting too heavy. I like the slimmer profile. A great little bag.

Thank you, Think Tank! I've been a 100% satisfied customer since the early 2000s and have enjoyed moving from your v1.0 products to your v2.0 products. My first version update was with my Airport Security bag, which I still use today! Now, with my new Streetwalker Hard Drive, I am looking forward to many years of service with it, as well. The top-loading laptop slot is a nice change from the side-loader and the additional depth in the main space that came with it was a very welcomed addition. Keep up the great work over there-you have a customer for life!

Everything is great for hauling my gripped Nikon DSLR with either the 80-400mm, 70-200 or even the 200-550mm attached. Love the depth. Would prefer one deeper larger front pocket instead of two separate ones to stuff in a jacket, etc.

The backpack was excellent for all day photography in Italy. I carried a Nikon Z9 and 3 lenses with snacks for the day with no problems. The zipper allowed the use of a lock to deter thieves in Rome, which worked great!

As soon as the Streetwalker arrived, I switched my gear. I took it to photograph eagles in Rock Park in PA and pulled it right along on the gravel and hillsides. The quality is evident. I like how snug it holds my cameras and lens. I am able to store my Tamron 150-600 mm attached to my Nikon D500, which is very convenient. Great bag and worth the money.

I have been using a Streetwalker Harddrive for something like 8 years so far. The bag is incredible. It stores all the gear I need to take (and more if I am willing to lug it) in a way that is accessible and easy to pack. There is no feature of the backpack that I don't use. My only issue with the pack didn't even show up until about a year ago. The plastic used for the mesh pockets in the outer panel yellows (at least here in the tropics) turning a khaki color. That didn't bother me, but in the last year, the plastic has started to separate from the mesh (in a kind of pellet form - like sand). It would have been better if the pockets were simply made out of the mesh that is the base structure of the plastic without the poly-whatever that eventually disintegrate.

I have used this backpack in a variety of situations from commuting daily with my full Nikon kit (Z6 and Z lenses, including the 70-200 f2.8, 105 macro, a couple 1.8 primes, 24-70 f4, and 1.4TC) to multi-day festivals. It also holds my 2022 iPad Pro with Logitech case/keyboard and all camera accessories (multiple batteries, charger, lens hoods flipped back on lenses, memory cards, card reader), plus room to spare for more smaller personal items. It's been wonderful. Comfortable, durable, easy to use. The only small tweak I'd suggest so far is that the stretchy water bottle pouches on the sides be made a bit taller, as "normal" sized water bottles tend to fall out of them in my experience. Aside from that, it's hard to find anything to critique. I'll be purchasing another ThinkTank bag shortly and am already looking forward to receiving it for other travel purposes. Don't hesitate to purchase one if you're on the fence.

After trying other backpacks and walking around constantly rearranging my shoulder straps because of the discomfort I decided to give Think Tank a go and I am so happy that I did!! I am a 51 year old petite female that likes to carry a lot of excipient. Lol I weighed my backpack in at 25lbs. I was shocked that after 6 hours of hiking?my shoulders or my back were not tired or sore!! It?s the way the backpack rests on your lower back/upper bottom that relieves the pressure from your shoulders. I seriously at one point had to stop because I was worried that I hadn?t zipped up my bag and lost some equipment because the bag felt so light!! Love love love this backpack!!!

The Perfect Camera Backpack?
By EdB
I've had many backpacks but the Streetwalker Pro Harddrive is hands down the best I've ever owned. There is TONS of room inside, easily carrying a D3s with 24-70 2.8 attached, a 70-200mm 2.8 VRII and lots of leftover space for more glass, strobe etc. The laptop comparment easily fits a 15" laptop. The 'office' compartment on the front has enough room for pens, cards and the usual goodies. An additional pocket on the front is perfect for a card case and extra battery. The backpack is deep, but ...

Great Designed Pack
By GRAHAM B.
This pack will fit all of your needs . Very roomy for all of your camera lenses and a body or two . If you can't get the shots with what this pack can carry ,then you best evaluate your technique of picture taking . It also has room for a couple of water bottles and a sandwich . I would give it 6 stars if I could . Adorama did a great job of shipping . I'm 83 years old and I carry it with 5 lenses and a body with the usual accessories---If I can do it , you young people can do it also .
