Very bright at highest setting, 18 levels of adjustment. Light, compact. Got a Manfrotto 1051 BAC compact stand. Perfectly matched.Will be much easier to adjust level & position of IceLight to illuminate the subject the way I want, with continuous lighting, than by iterating with a flash while looking only at my camera’s LCD.

I love the soft ligh given off by the Westcott icelight 2. It definitely packs a powerful source into a portable, easy to use format. Don’t expect this to be the brightest light source if you’re doing video, don’t get me wrong it is bright, but best used for medium or close ups. I love the ability to shape light easily and it’s definitely a great piece of equipment. It feels sturdy. I do recommend getting an extra battery or two as they usually last about an hour or so depending on your brightness setting. You can beat how flattering this light is without the use of modifiers, but the options are there.

The tungsten gel is hard to remove sometimes, and the gel clips could fall out easily, other than that, I'm extremely happy with the purchase and considering getting another ice light.

The hood still bleeds light so you'll need to put black tape on the slots. Other than that the hood works very nice and the quality is decent.

B&H shipped quickly and arrived perfectly (as usual) I was really impressed with the build quality and included accessories. The filter, the carrying case and the connector to put 2 end-to-end. B&H also provided a free extra battery. I'm very impressed. I also bought the barn doors for more control (highly recommended). I wish it was cheaper but you get what you pay for ..... I recommend it.

It won't match window light quality but it is a nice light. Handy and it seems softer than a regular video led light. Good battery life - done 2h photo shoot to test it and still shows battery OK. One think I do not like about this light is it's price.

Haven't had much chance to use it yet, but I love it! Light is very pretty, and when using higher ISO's, lots of options.
