Review Summary
2007-12-29T19:00:00
I've had this paticular camera for a few months now and am just finding some of the ticks with it. I shoot some art, scenics, sports and some small weddings. I like the ease of use shifting from my old AE-1 35mm to the EVOLT 410. As with anything read the manual! I did find a slight aberation with the 40-150 lens, and the onboard flash is sketchy at best. I do not like the .orf file format which is olypus's subitution for .Raw Some photo editiong programs do not recognize it.

My first impressions are very favorable. Small easy to use camera that delivers good results ... much like the OM cameras. The only frustration was taking pictures of fireworks. When I let go of the shutter release (using B) the camera would start writing. After a few seconds I would want to take another picture but the camera wouldn't respond until it finished writing.
