I got a fisheye lens from a friend and decided to get more variety of lens! Such a good product and tool when taking video and photo.

It's fair to say that my iPhone 13 ProMax has consistently produced some exceptional still images which my clients have really appreciated because taken on my iPhone has meant that I have been able to instantly upload the images to their websites and social media platforms. So, how do you improve on that? I thought I would purchase the Moment 58mm Tele Lens. This is where the confusion arose as it seems reading the Moment website that both the M-Series and the T-Series could be used on the 13 ProMax. When I placed my order for the iPhone 13 ProMax case it recommended just the M-Series so, I went that route. Having previously brought cases directly from the Apple store the Moment version is a huge improvement in functionality, especially the textured area giving a better grip. When the lens arrived I thought that perhaps the back cap was missing, only to be informed that although the front lens cap was included, the rear was an optional extra!! (Are Moment the only lens manufacturer on the planet that charge extra for a lens back cap)? So far, having tried out the 58mm lens, to be honest I am disappointed with the results. Having taken images for over 45 years now, I am fully aware of manual settings that need to set on the 'Pro Camera by Moment' app because I started my photographic career with totally manual cameras and lenes. As a comparison I shot a series of images with the 58mm via the app then removed the lens and shot the same series of images with iPhone 13 ProMax set to portrait mode. I showed the results to a colleague who confirmed my worse thoughts and that was the iPhone 13 ProMax without the lens produced the better results. Back to the drawing board, perhaps I should have ignored the website and purchased the T-Series lens after all. If I could trade in the M-Series to try out the T-Series that might work. For the time being my thoughts are, if you have plenty of time and patience to set up a shot then try the Moment route, if you need a more immediate image then shoot the subject using just your iPhone.

Perhaps I did not need this one for my purposes, but it is a well made product and still adds some value. I only wish the provided lens pouch was of a higher quality. I have the feeling that at some point the drawstrings will go.

Good luck getting the kind of sharpness the promotional images would have you believe you can get. This noticeably lowers the actual quality of the image, and slows down the autofocus. Fun as a gimmick but not a high quality photography tool.

I am still figuring out the lens and its capabilities, especially with the Moment phone app. After the 58mm arrived and I saw its quality, I went ahead and bought the anamorphic 1. 33 just for fun. While I am not overwhelmed with my results yet, I see this as something I need to learn and am optimistic about what I'll be able to achieve. I have not needed much in terms of support yet, but the one email I sent was responded to very promptly and on a weekend.

It is a wonderful lens and definitely fun to have in the arsenal. My only negative about it is that it is soft around the edges.

Just got this lens. It is the first time I have used an additional lens on my phone. It mounts really easily on the Moment case. The lens is significant and has some weight to it - definitely made well. Due to the weight, it takes some getting used to on my iPhone 16 pro. I downloaded the moment app and it is easy enough to use with the lens. I am not an expert by any means but I understand basic camera settings. I have not used it extensively but, the lens seems to work well. I am happy with the image quality so far. I need to spend more time with it before I can give a more thorough review but, so far, I like what I see.

I bought this lens in preparation for a trip to Alaska. Need to reach out further with better glass lens to capture the wildlife and glaciers. This lens will help me have a better trip with better photos.

Beautifully sharp resolution, with no edge softness or chromatic aberration. Super easy to attach and remove from the phone. First impressions: This is a big lens, and definitely weighs the iPhone towards the end. I feel much more comfortable maneuvering the iPhone in some sort of grip, rather than handholding with only my fingers. There's a lot of glass at the front of this lens, and I should have ordered a clear filter at the same time just for general dust, and lens protection. As noted in the description, the default camera app does not work with this lens on the 3X setting. The phone will not focus, and over exposes (iPhone 15 Pro). Using the moment pro camera app, or another manual control photo app functions perfectly.

Moment has great products and a well-deserved reputation. My personal ordering problem arose at the products selection worksheet. In my opinion, that worksheet needs to be tweaked to avoid mis-ordering cases when there are multiple sizes. Although I originally got the wrong size case, Megan Hand offset my additional out of pocket expenditures; for which I am grateful.

Bought both T and M series and when you use it the camera tries to focus and you can see the outside of the camera lens. I can see the debt of field which is nice but it's way more clear using cinematic

Physical zoom > digital zoom. Quality optics to get extra reach. Your minimum focus distance becomes a bit further than usual so be mindful of that. If you're going to stack it on top of the built-in telephoto lens I would go for the T series version over the M version.

I've been using this lens to tighten my shots when out ons hike and want to get a better shot of the horizon. I find that there's less compression of the image versus the native lens alone when I zoom in. Excited to try it out for longer trips.

I got this for my pixel 3 like the wide angle lens. It allows me to take 2x shots without digitally cropping the images. The picture quality is better compared to cropping the image by 2x natively. There is some but little artefacts at the edge/corner of the images. I tried this lens on my Pixel 5 with similar results. For my Pixel 7, the image quality falls off a little bit but it is still usable, unlike the wide 18mm M-series lens I have.

This Tele lens was my very first lens, and compared to years ago when I saw my friend pull out his moment lens, this thing is HUGE. the T-series comes with more glass, a larger bayonet, and now comes with a filter mount! Moment has definitely evolved their line of mobile lens. Pair this with the 67m filter adapter and you can use all your 67mm camera ND/Polarizer/Mist filters.

I wanted to like this lens. I do like the macro lenses very much. I am using an iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Moment Pro app. I have taken multiple comparison shots with the standard x1, the x5, the 58mm Moment on the x1 and 105mm lens from another manufacturer. The 58mm was consistently worse than either the 1x and 5x. Focus was not sharp and the image was blurry. I tried this at multiple ranges with different subjects with consistent results. Thinking that this might just be an issue with any telephoto, I tried the 105mm from another manufacturer and it was tack sharp. I tried to reach out to Moment prior to writing this review but 2 business days plus two weekend days later - nothing despite the web promising an answer in a couple of hours. I'll wait a couple more days to see if I get a response and see whether Moment can resolve this issue for me otherwise this lens is going back?. Very disappointing.

The Moment 58mm Telephoto lens produces images that are crisp, clear and have great edge to edge sharpness. The new T-Series bayonet mount is a much needed improvement over the older style in that it fits tighter giving us the assurance that the lens is secure and will not work itself loose. The bayonet mount makes attaching the lens quick and easy.

I used it to take handheld portraits of myself on my iPhone and it still did a phenomenal job. It produces amazing depth of field and the photos look like they're from a professional camera. In daylight shots, the output looks like it came from a DSLR. Definitely worth the investment!

This lens is a good way to get closer shots with my smart phone. So far, so good. Well made, easy to install into the mount, sturdy and secure. Gives the equivalent of about 2X optical magnification for my built in smart phone lens. I believe this will work best with a smart phone protector with a built in lens mount.
