Being a professional photographer I really don't let others use my camera equipment (including my husband). He wanted a camera that he could use and get good pictures without going to a DSLR. After a lot of research, I settled on this camera. He loves it! It has a great zoom for him, good picture quality, he can take it in concerts and venues that don't allow DSLR (bonus for both of us), and does pretty decent in low light (a little slow on the auto focus in low light but overall quality is excellent for not being a high end camera). This still gives him the feeling that he is looks more professional though (which he likes too)since it looks just like a smaller DSLR camera. He is very pleased with the camera.

Using the camera in low light is great! Just be sure to hol it still while it take 3 photos and stacks them to bring out the deatails. The zoom and super macro modes are great. This seems to be the next best thing to a DSLR with changeable lenes. In my mind it's actually better since you always have the "right" lens already on the camera. This camera is literally chocked full of features for the price! Adorama Camera is awesome!!!!

I purchased this camera whenit first came out and thought it was the perfect travel camera. AA batteries and a great zoom range. I used it at home for six months with no problems. I am now on a 28 day cruise and the camera is giving continuous overheat warnings and shutting down. The autofocus and startup are also very slow.

So far I have not had any prblem with the camera. There is a learning curve and with the manual and a couple of forms I have learned more concerning getting the picture quality I was interested attaining with the Fuji HS 20. I had good experineces with both the seller and the manufacturer and I enjoy taking pictures with this camera. My research for a new camera lead me to the type of camera nad then I narrowed it to the HS 20. I very happy with the performance and understand that what I gave up not going to a DSLR. That said I wish Fuji would have added some of the firmware that they are now available on there newer cameras, with is a minor issue and has no impact on the pictures I get with the HS20.

I'm a seasoned photographer who enters photo contests and needs quality shots to compete. For the price I paid [$]) it is a marvelous camera and no lenses to change which is a big plus for me. I'll probably buy an external flash for distant shots.
