The quality is exactly what I expected. It's quick and easy to set up and fold down, which makes it really convenient during shoots. The additional beauty dish is a great addition it makes the softbox even more versatile and useful in different setups.

I use this every time I need a light modifier for an indoor shoot. I do not recommend using this softbox outside because of wind or breeze blowing it over and destroying it. However, as a tool for us indoors, it is fantastic.

Just like the 60" version, this 48" octabox is a dream to use. Beautiful, soft light and you can use these softboxes in different configurations so you essentially get a few modifiers in one!! This really lightweight modifier comes with its own grid and deflector plate as well, all for a really affordable price!! The build quality is great and it's a good looking modifier. The Glow aesthetic is great!! You really can't beat this so just get it already!! It's more than worth it if you want gorgeous, soft light but don't want something quite as large as the 60" (5 ft.) version, look no further!!

Fantastic light modifier. This thing is HUGE and gives some of the softest light you've ever seen!! Though very large, it's quite lightweight for its size and takes ZERO strength to open and click into place. Setup and collapse are extremely easy and quick!! No annoying rods to hurt your hands, fighting to put them into place!! If you want super soft light in soft box form at a very reasonable price, then this is the obvious choice!! The icing on the cake is that it comes with a grid to control light spill!! A lot of brands don't include grids with their softboxes and are significantly more expensive!! You won't be disappointed with this!! Just get it already!!

Awesome build quality for the price, easy setup and tear down and obviously, provides a massive light source that's really soft and beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to get you one or two for your kit especially considering it comes with a grid at this price.

Great little softbox, but one of the ribs snapped at the ring-end. The metal there is really thin on the rib, and just broke at the pivot point where expanding the box puts all of the force. I guess for the money I shouldn't be surprised, but it didn't get heavy use. Disappointing.

For the price, these EZ Lock softboxes from Glow (Adorama) are fantastic! These original octas aren't as durable as the Deep Para's and others, but they're inexpensive, and as long as you treat them well, they'll last! The quality of light and the variety of function are great, and I have a few different sizes

The Glow EZ Quick Octa Large Softbox (36 inch) is excellent for providing overall soft light! For under $100 (including tax), the material is very sturdy. The softbox comes with two diffusers as well as an egg crate. I am very happy with this investment! Also, a big shout out to Adorama for how easy it was to order this product on their website and super-fast shipping!

I was expecting it to be a little flimsy for the price but the fabric is a decent weight and the stitching seems good. Quick to set up and break down - took a little practice but very happy with my purchase. The included grid for the total price of $85 is an amazing bargain.

Great soft, even lighting. Easy to setup and take apart. (much easier than other brands). Includes the grid to help you control the spill of light which is useful to keep the light from hitting the background. Can light the subject from head to toe.

Puts out beautiful light but a bit cumbersome. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to grab it when spinning the bowens mount to remove it. I would buy again though.

This octa box is well made, easy to set up, and produces a pleasing soft light with a bit of dazzle. I use it sometimes as a key light, other times for on-axis fill, and once in a while as the fill in clamshell set-up. In the third role, despite its generous size, it fits comfortably on my smallest light stand and does not block access to the subject. The inclusion of a grid in the basic price, rather than as an extra, is a big plus. The only problem I've had has been that this unit produces a slightly cooler color temperature than another, older octa that I often use with it. It can take i bit of fancy dancing, either in light placement or in post or both, to get them to play nice together. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Im new to photography so this was the first soft box i bought. I been using a friends beauty dish for some time but realized quickly that the beauty dish is to get certain looks. This Octabox is the was package small which I like but opens up to the exact size of 36 inches that I needed. Comes with the grid and both interior and exterior diffusions. What put the icing on the cake for me was the plate that it came with which would allow me to get a similar look to the beauty dish on just this one Octabox. If you are looking for a well round softbox then you cant go wrong with this octabox at all. Best bang for the buck.
