I was debating between this Moonlight, SE and the Pro. I am glad that I chose this one, because it looked and felt great out of the box. It also came with the 7" reflector which works nice on the Strobe and it came with the R2 Pro ii. Setup was easy, but only fired once after each change of settings. I contacted Adorama and the Customer Service was great. They got me to the correct person, and he spent 30 minutes helping me to find the problem. It turned out that the transmitter I was using needed a Firmware update, it was the xpro ii. But, when I put on the R2 Pro ii it fired without a problem. I am giving the Customer service a 5++ Star Rating. Thanks Adorama!

Very easy to setup and connect with my Canon 1DX Mark ii. I had to have a transmitter since it is an older camera, but it connected with no problems at all. I'm considering buying a couple more at some point.

Really easy to set up and use. Bought this particular model so I can HSS with it for athlete/action portraits. Rechargeable battery makes this easy to transport and carry around anywhere. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to add strobes to their gear.

I previously purchased this light and have been using it for approximately 6 months in the studio and on location. The light works great is easy to control and has plenty of power and battery life. I liked it so much I purchased a second one and converting to flashpoint for all my studio lights. Very easy to use the flashpoint trigger to control all the lights together, or individually. Seems to be very high quality and well made.

I have 2 of these and they have worked great. I shoot youth sports team and when taking portraits outside on bright days you need this power to do the job right. Even if you don't use all the power you have the benefit of the recycle time when you are on a lower power for some of the action type shots.

I have a Ad600BM already which this is identical to great light that has worked well for me. I couldn't beat the price I got the flashpoint at on sale. It came with a carry case which was nice with enough room to put both my 600's into it. That was a bonus for me

The strobe is an absolute workhorse! I bought it for a large commercial shoot doing environmental portraits. It performed flawlessly throughout a 12 hour day in both indoor and outdoor locations as the key light and the battery was still at 1/2. I'm very impressed! Only thing I don't like about it is the angle adjustment, it feels plasticky and is hard to adjust when there is a modifier on it. Feels like a minor complaint for how well it performed otherwise.

I've used many monolights and other studio lights, this by far is tops. I grew up in a photography studio. My Dad's, a full time working photographer and began long before strobes even had been built. I'm an old guy, lots of experience and LOVE this light.

I use these for OCF applications where a mains power source is unavailable. Mostly outdoor portraits and occasionally indoor real estate. So far, so good. Excellent repeatability as far as output is concerned. I have invested in the extension heads for these units, even though I have very sturdy stands. But these units are heavy and I don't want accidents to happen. I now have two manual and two TTL units. No issues with any of them. I keep close tabs on the battery's level of charge during interims using them.

This was deeply discounted, so I took the plunge. I don't need TTL but sometimes it comes in handy with rapidly changing light conditions. Basically, the same as my other 600BM's. I monitor the batteries weekly when they're not being used all the time.

These are some of my favorite lights to use on location or in studio. Consistently strong and reliable! My only gripe would be that they are VERY top heavy so get a good stand and weight it down.

While i have had TTL on camera flash for many years, this is my first off camera ttl studio light and i LOVE it! I shoot it with a 60 inch umbrella indoors and a 34 inch softbox outside. The HSS outside is a dream come true, any aperature and perfect light.

Flashpoint does not disappoint with this XPLOR600 light. At 600 watts it's strong enough for many types of photography. I've used it for portraits, group photos, and for real estate photography, it's strong enough for larger homes and can over power the sun for exterior shots. Definitely worth the money. The only small complaint I have is the round cover that goes in the front kind of rattles even when it's locked onto the light but not a deal breaker.

This is my workhorse goto flash. I prefer this one over the 600 pro. This light has never let me down and I highly recommend it. Whether it's a portrait shoot during sunset or a full wedding day the battery life on this flash is excellent! If you're not shooting full power all the time the battery will last you multiple shoots before recharging.
