I am invested into the Aputure ecosystem and the Sidus link control is so helpful for when you are running solo or small crews. Great light!

I purchased this light as a brighter alternative to my 300D's and 120D. This rig does not disappoint and features near bulletproof build quality. I often pair this unit with f10 fresnel for even greater output. On a recent music video we used three of these to help overpower the sun for the specific style which the client was looking for.

As an owner of a 600d and 1200d, this light was a perfect and necessary addition to my collection. Sidus link for the win!

The control options on the light is fantastic, especially with the FX functions, and expanded Sidus controls are helpful. Paired with the Dome 150 is a great combo for a bright soft source giving you harsh or soft control of the light.

This light is amazing! It?s not as bright as the X or D, but it still packs a punch. The RGBW is a great asset to any kit! I?ll be adding another to my kit for sure!

Aputure makes a very bright, easy to use light. It's cheap (made and based in China) and is miles better than the utterly idiotic first version of the light. BUT, it's a pain to use because of the ballast type power supply and clamp and the whole system takes up a a lot of space. You can't just stick it in a hamper or on a head cart because unlike a Mole Richardson or Arri head, it's too delicate. Why is the head not bigger and a little heavier and have everything built into it? Not good. Also the fresnel doors are very deep and a pain to fit on a cart. Word is that the 600 still has issues with color shifting over time just like the first version. Mine are still ok.

One of the best high valued production light on the market. This light gives you a big source of light, allowing you to make it as soft as you?d like, or as hard as you?d like. The accessibility of this light is up to the Cinematographer and his/her creativity. I?m looking to purchase a second unit!

Love the Aputure 600x, big beautiful soft light . It really stepped up our game with our clients . That light along with the Aputure 300x and 2 Aputure 60x?s completes our location lighting interview set up perfectly

This has become my go-to key light when working daylight. I even used 2 to mimic morning light co my info into windows and it worked beautifully. The days of bulky lights and generators have finally become the past with this invention!

This is a pro led bicolor light. It is a bit heavy and the case has wheels and a handle. It is like other current Aputure products...well though out and powerful

This company is in in it for real. Not a cheap Chinese co. that will change its name in a year. Build quality is really nice. The color is spot on.

fantastic light, extremely bright yet doesn't get as insanely hot as say a Joker. I ordered two of them, and also have the c300d v2 (which are also great lights). I think you'd be hard pressed to find a light of this quality in this price range. As a video producer, having this in my arsenal is a must in my opinion. 4 stars, because the lights automatically come on upon receiving power, which is a fire hazard. so don't leave them plugged in in a studio.

Love the power and all the options. Just wished the fan speed was consistent. So that editing it out in post would be easier. But I love the light over all. Very robust....
