This light is pretty amazing, from the quick recharge to the consistent color temperature, I can't say enough good things about it. As if those things weren't great enough, what really makes this light amazing is the Skyport system. Along with the optional Skyport Transceiver you can trigger this strobe remotely AND adjust it's power setting from the transceiver on your camera! No more going back to that hair light, bringing the stand down to adjust the power, and then hoping you can get it back to the same hight. I love it!

Great advantages are its very quick flash duration and recycle time (even at full power); connection into the well designed line up of the highly regarded, Elinchrom lighting system of products and all for a rather reasonable price. I have two BXRi 500 mono-lights and plan to add to my strobe kit over time, as needed. The Skyport SPEED transmitter, still "new" at this time, which I'm awaiting shipment of, will certainly make this a time saving, joy to use, as it allows full control of the strobes from the cameras "hot" shoe.

Used the light for the first time today in conjunction with two Elinchrome 400's. I loved the total coverage, coloring and refresh speed. It was well worth the $$, I hope to get to use it more frequently to really put it through the paces.
