Best EN-EL15 ever, and it's the real thing. I would never trust Amazon with a purchase like this, not with as many knock-offs as they sell; I would never use anything but a genuine Nikon battery in any of my Nikons.

So I bought 2 of these to replace the Nikon batteries that came with my D810 and the MB-D12 grip. The original batteries turned out to be counterfeit. I had a problem with the MB-D12, took it to a Nikon repair center for inspection and they checked the batteries and found them to be the issue and that they were fake. Problem solved and the new batteries I had inspected and they are OEM and work fine. When in doubt have your batteries inspected! The failure happened on a job where it was a family group that was not going to be together again because of some of them living in Europe so I was lucky I had a back up set of batteries.

I bought this for a new Z8. I have read that the aftermarket batteries don't work in it. I had a couple of aftermarket batteries that worked well in my D7500, but I sent them a long with that camera when I sold it. I have only used this one for one cycle, and it seemed to work fine.
