So far so good. Even after 'cleaning' with dvdDR the DVD drive-in my recorder, the last ADORAMA order of Maxell DVD-R had at least 30-40% defective disks which recorded with distortion and skip defects and had to be thrown out.

The previous reviewer did not understand that the problem was that the product was described as "Inkjet Printable" and it wasn't. Paper labels are not a good idea at all, since if they are not centered they can peel up, throw the disc off balance, or stick in the drive.

These DVD discs are excellent beyond belief I don't know what the other guys problem is but he should have done a little more research before buying. DVD discs, as well as CD discs, are meant to have recorded data on it whether it be music, videos, movies, pcitures, documents, etc..If you want the disc to have a printable label buy a label sheet that you can print out yourself with your own customizations and then stick them on to your disc problem solved.

These DVD's are not inkjet printable although to description of the product indicates Print To Center. Do not order these Recordable DVD'S if you are planning on printing to them.
