I used to have one of these years ago, but have no idea what became of it. When I recently started working on scanning my huge collection of old slides, I looked for a way to view them and found that this is still on the market. Bought it and still like it after all these years. Simple and reliable.

Not worth the price, but you can't really find anything cheaper that does the job. Adorama's price was lower than Amazon's, with free (and prompt) shipping to boot. Count me as a satisfied customer given my options. :-)

My husband had some old slides about 30 plus years old. The slide projector was about as old. He needed something newer because the old one finally broke. I searched online for a replacement and ran across Adorama. I decided to give it a try and was very please. My husband is very happy.

The viewer I replaced was poutchased in 1970 for half what I paid for his one andit was bigger. I guess I'm juswt wishing for something that doesn't exist any more.

This product feels like it's only worth $5 in terms of quality. I would not have bought it if I had seen it first in a store. However it does the job if all you want is the ability to review some old 35mm slides and gain a sense of whether they are worth digitizing or not.

Easy to use. Just put in batteries and put in one slide at a time and view. I have some slides that I found from years ago and had no way of viewing until I found the Pana-Vue at Adorama.

Needed a small slide viewer to sort 35mm slides accumulated over many years. Our old one had died and we were pleased to find we could still get this small individual viewer. Very easy to use and store.

I use this to review old slides as I don't have a projector. The slides are bright, much easier than holding them up to a window or lamp. Would like to see the slides a little larger.

I bought this as a suppliment to my smaller slide viewer that requires an ambient backlight. Since I don't always have a window with sunlight behind it and interior lights offer varying results, this is a nice alternative that offers constant performance. I recommend buying a replacement bulb at the time of purchase just in case though. I haven't had any problems with mine burning out but I can imagine that it is quite an inconvenience to have to stop what you're doing because of a dumb little light bulb.

Push the slide into the device, the light lights up and you are viewing your slide. Not complicated, just does what it is supposed to do. The light is bright enough for viewing in a lit room.

Compact, ease of use Too bad bulbs with white light brightness temps can't be found. Be better if device used byonet mounted bulbs as bulb technologies changing. Even better use a LED light source inst3ead of incadesenct bulb.

No real complaints because it's relatively cheap and simple. I'd like the background piece (protecting the film from the bulb) to be a purer white instead of yellowish, to see detail better. Or maybe just a brighter bulb.

I have thousands of slides that I have taken over the years from around the world. With the computer and digital age we not put all our photos on the computer and the obviously you don't want to put every slide on the computer. We use the product to review each slide and determine which ones we want to scan. Makes it much better than trying to get the projector working again or buying a new one.
