Great for downloading memory cards for back up while on location. Gives redundancy on the spot.

Excellent once I figured out how to download on Windows Vista. I was able to store over 1000 pictures on my recent vacation. This will definitely come in handy on future trips.

Instead of carrying a number of memory cards, one can download pics on to Wolverine and keep going.

I took a chance with the PicPac on a recent ten day travel shoot where it wasn't practical to take my laptop & external drives. My intent was to not reuse my CF cards and use the PicPac as a secondary backup. I ended up exceeding my CF capacity and had to rely on the PicPac to store images as only copies in some cases. I am happy to say it worked fine. It can run on the AC adapter, but only after starting out on battery for unknown reasons. Acts a bit flaky on a Mac system with downloads. Sometimes had to dis & reconnect to get the next folder, but otherwise fine. No issues on Win systems.
