YN-E3-RX doesn't work with older canon flashes

I have (1) 580 EX II, (2) 580 EX and (1) EX 530. This unit fires all of them but neither manual or ETTL control works, useless. Purchased this with YN-E3-RT, they link easily, just can't control older Canon flashes.

It just works

Yongnuo is the best non-brand name equivalent of the Canon speedlight series, at a reasonable price. Recommended.

Part of a complete system

I use this with my 600 series flashes to add some of the odd flashes that do not work directly with the system. It allows you to use older flashes with the RF system.

Highly recommended!

It works perfectly for my intended use. I'm using out them to mix my strobes with my speed lights. Seems to have good range and I've had very few misfires.

So I'd recommend the Rovelights and the yne3-rx's.

I bought the Flashpoint Rovelight 600s and wanted to integrate those with my Canon system so I didn't need multiple sets of triggers to swap and and keep track of. Plus, I can use HSS on my Rovelights with this. I can also use my Canon's and Yongnuo 600's as accent or additional lights while using the Rovelights as key, etc. It was a great solution and so far so good. I not only would but have recommended this to several FB forums of which I am members. So I'd recommend the Rovelights and the yne3-rx's.
