The Legends Bucky 5-Section Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod with AirHed Vu Ball Head, in striking bronze and blue, is a premium, high-quality photography accessory designed for the modern, mobile photographer. This lightweight yet sturdy tripod is incredibly portable, making it an ideal companion for travel photography.
Constructed from 8 layers of 100% pure carbon fiber and aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, the Bucky tripod offers a remarkable working height range, from ground level to nearly 2 meters tall. This versatility ensures you can capture the perfect shot, no matter the environment or angle.
As part of 3 Legged Thing's innovative Legends range, the Bucky tripod features three detachable legs. These can be utilized as monopods or boom arms, adding to the product's adaptability. When the legs are removed, Bucky transforms into a compact table-top tripod with the addition of 3LT's specialized tripod footwear.
The Bucky tripod is equipped with a new design of leg and column locks, featuring external O-Pads for improved grip, leverage, and water displacement. Internally, the locks are engineered with a unique design of Chicken Lips (shims) for enhanced strength and grip.
The tripod also incorporates 3LT's new Rapid Latch, an anodized metal leg latch with an auto-engage lock. This feature allows for easy positioning and release of Bucky's legs for counter-folding.
The Bucky tripod comes with a stunning new Arca-Swiss compatible ballhead - the AirHed Vu, and a QR-Octa quick release plate. The AirHed Vu features contoured security cut-outs in the detachable clamp to accommodate security pins in the underside of the QR-Octa plate. It also includes a vision panel in the casing, allowing users to see the mechanism move into place.
