Design
Designed with a traditional base pan-and-lock mechanism, which allows for smooth panning, even under load. Security was at the forefront when developing the AirHed Switch and the two-stage release mechanism will give ultimate plate security backed up with incorporated security recesses for use with plates that have security pins. The AirHed Switch incorporates 3 Legged Thing's innovative modular design, enabling users to detach the clamp for use on any 3/8" device. This is particularly useful if using the detachable monopod leg on any professional 3 Legged Thing tripod.

Compatibility
The AirHed Switch comes with the QR3P Release Plate, which is both Peak Design and Arca Swiss compatible. The AirHed Switch's clamp is compatible with all standard Arca Swiss release plates.
